Well for starters cum stain if you even had a clue you would have realized Wladimir isn't even the hardest hitter in the family let alone part of this discussion. According to actual readings I saw on some former Heavyweight boxers which were different readings to the world record apparently Ngannou has of 129,161 units. These were old results I found in psi Wladimir 1200,Vitali 1300, Tommy Morrison 1400 and Earnie Shavers was 1600

Its a small difference either away plus minor and irrelevant to the actual discussion. Who knows maybe this isn't the place for me, but what I do know is that what i've forgotten about MMA and boxing would add up to more then your overall knowledge about both sports.

It's cool to wonder this type of thing, but it's kind of pointless. They both hit hard enough to render most anyone unconscious with a single blow. Punching power is a great attribute, but it isn't the only thing that matters. Timing, precision and accuracy are important factors as well. Ngannou may be able to swing a bat harder than Barry Bonds, but it doesn't mean he can hit a home run in Major League Baseball. The same can be said of George Foreman.

Foreman's style was dependent on his strength and chin. George Foreman was one of the physically strongest heavyweight champions ever. Foreman used his strength, and exceptional chin, to stand inside his desired punching range and unleash his bombs. Foreman's strength allowed him to move forward, fight off clinches and overcome his opponents with an avalanche of pressure. Without that chin, he would've been ko'd early and often. With all that, Foreman still needed the precision and accuracy to land his punches.

Tank Abbott may have hit harder than either of these guys. Relax, I'm not saying he did. I'm saying Abbott didn't have the other attributes to be as successful. Some of us may have neighbors, some of us may even be the one, that hits harder than any of these guys. It doesn't matter if you can't land the punch.

Now hold on here. While yes Todd whats-his-face is so blatantly a white nationalist/supremacist (he barely hides his agenda at all anymore with his posts), I do agree that Wlad hits harder than this guy. Wlad is the former HW champ, and punching is his bread and butter, he will most definitely be a harder hitter than an MMA guy.

 

I don't have an issue with the opinion at all just pointing out the thread was a comparison between Foreman and Ngannou.

 

Ngannou has a real punchers chance in any fight he goes into, theres no doubt he punches hard, but when your at the elite and your technique is as horrendous as his you get caught out sooner or later, Stipe should sleep him if hes concentrated throughout the opening 2 minutes. Oh and Foreman punches harder than any other man born from a womb

You cannot be that stupid seriously?I wouldn't be surprised at all if Foreman was the bigger puncher out of the 2 but the reason the discussion has come about is due to Ngannous performances in the cage including all his UFC wins by stoppage and the last 4 fights lasting less then 2 minutes . Nobody said the results from a punching machine were any kind of deciding factor especially considering that Foreman along with the majority of fighters would never have even used it.
