Ovill McKenzie - simply, how can you not like this man? although he did get relative success towards the end of his career.

It's irrefutable that Ward's body shots were completely devastating for him. Ward won that fair and square, that's a fact. You can make all the excuses you want in the world, won't change a thing!

Katsidis is one of those for me. Was limited but game and seemed a nice fella who had been through a lot

I'm amazed by no one mentioning Povetkin. Highly exalted by many, height of his career is the WBA Reg. No one?

    Golota!!

Watching his fights when I was younger is what got me into boxing. There was never a lack of drama or suspense when Andrzej was about to fight. Had everything he needed to big Heavyweight champ, expect the mental! Even with his struggles mentally, I still believe he beat Byrd and Ruiz and should have gone down as a champ.

Other than that, I echo Rosado (warrior willing to bang with anyone) and Povetkin (great fighter, but doesn't get much coverage here in the US outside of hardcore fans).

Francisco Rodriguez Jnr. God damn he got moved along quick. Roman Gonzalez kicked the hell out of him, but his absolutely thrilling war with Katsunari Takayama was some validation...couldn't defend the strap though, got too big. I was excited for his 2015 fight with Nientes but it never really took off to he honest. Still, he's rarely in a bad fight and I always try to track him down on YT when he's been in one.

I don't know if he qualifies but Chisora I definitely have a weak spot for.
