Is Vasyl Lomachenko seriously overrated?

If people can't see how special a talent this guy is they have **** in their eyes and are clearly jealous.
To hear active boxers, even world champions say that they look up to him and in awe of him isn't normal.
Whether it's where he's from, the colour of his skin or his completely unique style of boxing which they aren't quite ready for, haters will hate.

Unproven still IMHO when compared to ATG like Pac and Mayweather. Don't get me wrong he has all the talent in the world and top 3 on my P4P list. It's just premature to compare him to those two or any other ATG.

He's picking on a smaller man in Rigo two divisions up which doesn't do anything for me. He gains nothing from that victory just like Mayweather/JMM. Walters was a belt holder whom I thought was a flash in the pan. I don't hold the Salido fight against him like most. It was a close fight and Salido just made it ugly kind of like Mayweather/Castillo or Maidana.

I'm impressed enough to say he has ATG potential but not yet. Beating Garcia, Crawford who are at or near their prime would sway me.

 

Yes very overrated let’s be real. He’s already lost to a guy he should have beat. His last fight was against a guy who had just lost and moved up in weight. He’s only have 9 fights everyone is using the eye test to say he’s great. I mean he had to drag his toughest challenge up two weights. I guess if pointing out he’s only been in 9 fights is hating. If pointing out his last opponent is coming off a loss and it was his first fight at the weight. I guess that’s hating. I mean if he’s as good as they say why didn’t he adjust like mayweather does when people get dirty. Great fighter possible ATG but facts are facts. He's nearly 30 had the best amateur career of all time he's had 9 world title fights and it's still to early to judge? Lol
Suppose he would get more respect if he started his pro career like everyone else and fight 15-20 bums to pad his record?
He's breaking all kinds of records but I guess we can't hold him in high regard because he never fought reggie sanders for his second pro fight or Filipe Garcia for his 11th pro fight.
If your wondering who these guys are, these are mayweathers opponents.
So lomachenko is fighting Guillermo Rigondeaux for his 11th pro fight and mayweather opponent was garcia who had a record of 14-18-1 lol! The guy had a losing record lol.
Look what Castillo did to floyd in his 28th fight!
Lol can you imagine what Loma would have done to him if he had 28 fights experience lol

 

No ones taking away the fact that he’s a fantastic fighter the question is/ was “ is he overrated” the correct answer is yes. Does that take away from his accomplishments, no not at all. Fighting a guy coming off a loss is impressive to you?
