Pirog. Too active, too big, and very VERY skilled.

Shame we never got to see him fight the big boys of MW of his time.

Great matchup! Despite the freakish athleticism Pirog showed against Jacobs, prior to the KO, I lean towards Winky in a nip and tuck battle. His tight defense, due to his ability to fully cover head and body with a stationary guard, combined with a piston like jab make the difference. Then again, Winky’s style generally wasn’t a favorite with judges so I could see Pirog winning a decision.
    Again, great matchup.

Pirog would win. Winky's style didn't work too well against that kind of fighter. Winky also wasn't that good at 160.

Pirog was a nobody with 1 win to his name. Wouldn't win a single round against a fighter the caliber of Winky

And active and quite big for 154. And more experienced at that level.

    Would pick him.

from what I've seen of the guy .. he'll put up a solid effort .. he has some weapons .. but winky who I've seen a lot more of .. he's got a whole book of tricks.. he'll take that right hand away from ol boy.. he'll neutralize it .. and that's where I haven't seen enough of pirog to say ..yeah he'll do this or no he won't ..

Pirog has the better 160 resume.

Hm, I think Winky's draw with Taylor is about as good as Pirog's win over Jacobs.

    I got Pirog.

    Such a shame what happened.
And crazy to think that a Golovkin Pirog fight was very close to happening.

The emphatic way that Pirog won makes it a better than Winky's draw in my opinion. I don't think there was much separating Jermain from Jacobs on a head to head basis. Pirog was matched tough and his 20 wins weren't push overs.
