Frank @4:05 in this interview suggests making a catchweight fight between BJS and James Degale??? At the Emirates stadium. Does anyone else think this fight would be a total disaster with not even a belt on the line?

    A catchweight wtf?

Either do the fight at 160 or do it at 168, this isn't a fight that warrants a catchweight in any form.

Frank's stretching because he's struggling to get his fighters the big fights. He said in his last interview that Anthony Yarde could knock out Anthony Joshua LOL!

Franks just throwing that out there in jest - everybody knows it’s not feasible.

I think frank would like to keep working with James, but it probably won’t be feasible if the opponent is a unification against Benavidez or ramirez

In terms of skill, it's a great fight. I give Degale the edge.

Degale/Eubank is the one I want to see though. Regardless of weight, that's a proper grudge match.

Can’t sell out the copper box but reckons he could host an event at the emirates.

Degale v Saunders would likely be a horrendous stylistic matchup- I’m just glad that it would basically have no chance of actually happening

You see thats what i think as well. It would be a horrendous match up. And to think it would sell out the Emirates at catchweight is absurd. But i don't think Frank was saying it in jest, because he was doing that shrugging and twitching his shoulders thing and he only does that when he is serious.

    This is Franks thoght process:
"Degale & BJS are both Arsenal fans, so get them in the ring together & then surely it would fill the Emirates Stadium Right?".... No Frank, it wouldn't.

I think this is a sign that after the Lemieux fight, BJS might step up to 168 for the big fights. GGG and Alvarez might yet be tied up for a third fight and then you’d be looking at 2019 to fight one of these lads.

I would back BJS to do well at 168. He’s a strong kid and is reliant on boxing skills rather than stopping his opponent.

Frank Warren thought he was going to sell out an Irish stadium with Lee and Saunders and barely sold 5,000 tickets. He needs to get real and understand that casuals have no idea who Billy Joe Saunders is. There's not a cat's chance in hell that Saunders and Degale could sell even 40,000 tickets in a football stadium.

I do agree that his ideal fighting weight is still 160, just like Eubank Jn they are both too small for SM. I think BJS possesses the skill to make up for that shortfall in physicality. Frank Warren has said previously that he will step up at some point.

I reckon he just meant in the club bar in front of 80 punters.
