Yep, them flurries would be missing and them counters would be clean. Eubanks fundamentals would be exposed at 160 !

Canelo is way too schooled for Jr. Stylistic nightmare for him IMO

In a hypothetical matchup at 164, I think Canelo will beat Eubank Jr comfortably over 12 -- maybe 8 rounds to 4 or 9 rounds to 3. For what it's worth, I believe this would be a true learning experience for Junior, and an the long run could do for him what fighting Mayweather did for Canelo.

Lol@ the votes for Canelo by stoppage. :nut:

This is a guy whose best power punches could dent Cotto on his last legs or even buzz a zombified Chavez Jr. Everybody should know that extreme drainage erodes your punch resistance. Jr absorbed everything Canelo threw into him and asked for more.

Canelo does not have power at his own weight , at SMW he is a borderline feather fist. No non puncher who fights in sporadic spurts is going to stop the titanium chinned Eubank

As for how the fight goes , Jr makes mince meat out of him , complete mismatch. Canelo is too small and his limited gas tank hasn't a hope of dealing with Eubanks non stop aggressive assault.

Without power Canelo is doomed and unlike Triple G , Jr will never let him rest or leave him off the hook while he's up against the ropes.

Jr has a far more dangerous fight than Canelo coming up against Groves , a fight in which many people said he find a way out of. If he blows GG away , then any argument of him losing to a midget like Canelo goes down the tube.

Your last sentence is that of someone that DKSAB, or the fighters people are talking about in this thread ! Canelo is a very respectable puncher, no 1 shot specialist but a great solid puncher in general ! There is a different level of skills here evidently, only size gives jnr an argument u Tampon !

Jorge Linares is SRR compared to Jeff Horn. That wouldn't stop Horn from ripping Linares in half.

Jr is closer to Canelo skill wise than Horn is to Linares. Canelo has better footwork , defense and right hand. They're matched on hooks and and Jr has the better uppercut.
He also has the better chin , size , power and endurance. He break Canelo up on activity. Canelo isn't keeping Jr off him , no way , no how.

I dont think Canelo has the frame to keep putting on weight. eventually it will hinder him.

My heavy bag moves more than Abraham. Canelo just went 12 with golovkin. If Eubanks tried to throw those wild hooks at Canelo he would be eating 3-4-5 punch counter combos all night

Jr turned him into a HW bag in only his second fight at the weight. AA was a top 10 ranked SMW and was 10-1 in his last 11 fights going in. 6-1 in world title fights.
The only loss being to #2 ranked Ramarez. Another guy Canelo would have no hope of beating.

Those aren't wild hooks. Those are tight , compact hooks thrown with serious speed and Jr is the multi punch combination puncher , not Canelo.

Eubank needs very minimal recovery time after trowing 4-5 punch combs. Canelo is out of action for large spurts after throwing a 1-2-3 counter. Jr swarms Canelo during those periods and would never give him a moments rest.

Since Dino picked Eubank rest assured that whatever hope he had of beating Canelo should they ever fight just got flushed down the toilet. The last Eubank fight I saw was the Yildirim fight and Jr looked good, but by no means unbeatable. He's also way down on speed compared to Canelo. No doubt Eubank can do some damage if he catches you right but he'd have a devil of a time landing clean punches on Canelo.

This. Also I love the way Dino "resets reality" in his reply to you in order to make it conform to his tastes :duh

Let's see him prove he can do something like that against groves.
Jr Canelo would be similar to the Canelo ggg fight except jr is not on ggg's level. I think Canelo counters and moves to win a comfortable decision
