Looks pretty convincingly to be a shot across the chin, just as ringsiders saw it.

BTW, what is the point of this thread? Am I missing some previous argument, some indelible line in the sand?

Yeah, that's what I said, so why did you bring it up again in the first place?
Point taken that I could have worded and presented the thread better but I found the entire debate to be ridiculous anyways.

    @mcvey

    Wait a sec.
    When you posted this:

Were you referring to Marciano vs Lastarza, or Louis vs Braddock?
I think I may have mistaken which one you were referring to.
    If I did, I apologize.

You still seem to be doubling down on the chest punch thing.
But I think I made a mistake in bringing it up the way I did.

Some time ago I said Louis was knocked down by a punch to the chest,I had read it in Braddock's interview for Pete Heller's book,"In This Corner",on closer inspection I had misread what Braddock said ,his actual words can be found on the Marciano thread about his"fast footwork "against Lastarza.
I re-read Louis's autobio to see if there was any info there, Joe says it was a punch to the chin . I then realised I had made a mistake and admitted it on a thread several months ago. Reznik has resurrected that because he didnt like what I posted on the Marciano thread. It's what children do when the game isn't going their way! Now since half the replies say its inconclusive, his pathetic attempt to score a delayed action point has bitten him in the a*se !

I think I resurrected it because I mistakenly thought you were referring to it.
It was in the post you quoted, but you weren't referring to it, my honest mistake.

    Head.

The neck back and the trajectory of Braddock's right arcs directly toward where Louis's head is situated.

No harm done to either. Fun little conversation was sparked.

Going purely from the footage. Six voted for head, two for chest two,[ one being me ,] for unsure. So 6 to 4 vote.

I call that room for doubt which imo ,makes the rep of the OP for objectivity take a hit! It's all good!

Yes this is my last post ,gonna commit seppuku tonight.

I've made plenty of mistakes, quite a few on here, but I've always manned up to them ,on two occasions making threads calling attention to and publicly correcting to them .

A clear hook/uppercut type of punch to the chin. Look at how Louis' head reacts to the punch. Case closed.

    Should be right?
What does it say that it isn't?
