Rigo is a massive banger. So why is his aggression pathetic?

This guy can clearly punch through a wall. But his aggression levels are terrible. He fights like a girl, but punches like a roided up monster.

Is he hiding glass? What gives?

What do you mean by "fights like a girl".
You never fight out of your element or to the strength of your opponents. He is undefeated unlike Glassvyl Lomachenko.

He is not aggressive at all. He's a very passive fighter. Most fighters would love to hit that hard, but Rigo rarely uses it.

Because he's been fighting above his optimal weight his whole career. He should have been a 115 or 118 pounder. He'd be KOing everyone at the lower weights. He wanted more of a challenge though, so he fought in a bigger weight class.

Also, I'm not a Lomachenko fan. I think he's overrated or at the very least unproven given his hype. I don't think he's that tough.

But I cannot stand Rigo. He's like Lara. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I haven't watched a Rigo fight in years. I caught up after I learned the Lomachenko fight was made. It confirmed what I already knew. The guy is boring as watching paint dry. But he has power, he just fights like a chick.

Rigo is content with winning ugly. His best fights are when he gets KD. He's like Mayweather in that sense. I always like to see these guys get hit so they turn it up a notch.

Style I guess, no need to fix what ain't broken. But I agree he's terrible to watch most of the time. But I loved the Donaire fight

Rigos ''power'' is a myth. Hit Donaire clean all night but couldn't put a dent in him. Donaire then gets starched by Walters. Donaire rates his power 6/10 and says he will never knock you out with anything you see coming. Rigo has no chance of hurting Loma and will be stopped himself.

Pathetic by whose standards, though? He accomplishes what he wants to do in the ring, and does it pretty effectively.

I think that’s just Rig’s style. He has a mentality that is defensive but also very cerebral. He doesn’t like to waste any punches and looks to set up his offense before letting go. I don’t think he’s hiding a delicate chin, just doesn’t like to make mistakes. I do question Rigs beard but not his heart. I think his chin will be tested tomorrow and that will answer some questions on how solid his punch resistance may or may not be. I also see Rig possibly testing Loma’s chin later in their fight after shaking off some of the ring rust I suspect he will have early on.

The Chakal is a artist that takes great pride in the pumpkins he sculpts with that scalpel left hand. he likes to take a step back look at his masterpiece and then go back to work.

His chin isn't the most reliable so he has to be careful.
