The main benefit from having crazy Ted commentate is his ****ing stupid ass metaphors are sometimes funny.

They should have just put a switched off microphone in front of him and told him he's commentating to keep him happy.

    ok
ok, farmboxer listed a few sports they would cut the fight for. my point was all those (and plenty more) sports are more popular in the states and would draw better ratings. like it or not, that is the truth.

wilder vs washington was shown on fox simultaneously with a basketball game, a nascar race, and a hockey game on the other networks. all of which outdrew the fight. no way on earth in the seventies the three of those sports combined ratings would have topped a hw title fight being shown at the same time.

Glad Atlas is not calling the fight. I know of no other person who is so stupid who is so enamored and impressed about himself. Atlas actually thinks what he says is clever when most of the time it is sheer idiocy. Boy, I can't wait until he is retired. They ought to bring Sean O'Grady back. He knows boxing and calls it well.

Sean O'Grady did an excellent job as a commentator on the old USA Tuesday Night fights...............Bobby Czyz did a great job for Showtime as well...........it appears that Tim Bradley will be commentating on the Lomachenko/Rigo fight. Tim Bradley warned Lomachenko about Rigo being a dirty fighter, told him to watch out for Rigo's dirty tricks..............Lomachenko said he learned dirty fighting from Salido.............SOB Ward is the dirtiest fighter I have ever seen...................hell, SOB makes Salido look like Jesus Christ!

Teddy Atlas did tell the truth about the Pac/Horn robbery and he raised hell about Byrd, the corrupt judge that Bob Bennett thinks is the very best! Teddy was correct when he said that Byrd would be right back judging, well, she is back................Fire here! Ban her! I asked Bob Bennett why they did not hire x-fighters to judge fights, he told me that they did not want to judge fights...................I meant to ask him why they don't use instant replay in boxing, but forgot...............

That harmed him. You understand Horn was Arums guy as well to some extent? Multi fight deals signsd etc.. Horn clearly won, any numpty could see that. Atlas introduced another narrative that took everything away from that fight.

I don't mind Teddy's commentary during fights. I don't always agree with him but he's almost honest to a fault. It rubs people the wrong way because he doesn't mince words and is so passionate. The powers that be are frequently in his cross hairs and that definitely plays a part in some of the missed opportunities calling fights for some networks....they can't control him. Right or wrong.... Atlas won't say something or direct his displeasures towards the boxing establishment he feels are responsible for corruption within the sport. Like I said.... I find myself disagreeing with Teddy a lot on certain fights and their outcome or some of his opinions on certain fighters....but I don't question his integrity or his honesty. I respect that about him. He's a thorough analyst and offers some very solid insights whenever he calls a fight

Yeah, I think it was Teddy's commentary that swayed so many to think Pac won that fight.. he didn't.. he got outworked by Horn. Take away the Pac name and it's clear who won that fight.

Teddy was so far out of line that night.

Why is boxing regarded on a parr with pro wrestling by the casual sports fan ??
The answer is obvious. Look whats happening in the sport. Judges handing in ludicrous scorecards Referees ignoring blatant fouling by certain fighters. Commissions allowing certain fighters to ignore the rules & issuing TUE's THREE WEEKS after a fighter blatantly break their own rules/
Teddy is 100 % right BOXING IS CORRUPT !!!

Horn should have been DQ'd on that fight or at least been docked 2 points
