Loma UD. I think they are so evenly matched in talent and skill that neither of them would ever be able to clearly beat the other just based on those two factors, so with pretty much everything else in Loma's corner I think those other factors will give him a clear but also close and competitive win. Solely based on talent and skill, if they had fought 10 times over the last four years at 126 I think they might each rack up two controversial wins a piece and draw the other 6.

I totally agree with you in that I also don't consider either of these two complete and well-rounded fighters, but you'd be hard pressed to find 5-10 of those types of fighters that were also born with the same amount of unreal natural athleticism and ability these two were gifted with, at least within a reasonable range of their natural weight classes, in the history of the sport.

I predict a very boring UD for Lomo. Rigo will run all night, with Lomo chasing him. The crowd starts booing in the 4th round and the place is empty by the 10th round.

At least that's what I'm hoping since I'm taking the wife to a Christmas party and will miss the whole thing.

And go back to your owl avatar; I've got this one covered.

Bro, I've been in the predicament you're currently in with your wife a countless number of times. I just want you to realize, you DO have a move here as much as it may seem otherwise. About 2 1/2 hours before she starts getting ready, drive way out to a new bar you have never been to and personally define the term "tying one off" and shut off your phone, then watch the fight at the bar. When you get home all your clothes will be right there in the front lawn awaiting your return, no need to bother with those tricky stairs. When she sees the hangover your in the next morning and that you really were pathetic enough to pass out in the front lawn, those two factors will take just enough steam out of her rampage for you to be able to handle it. Sounds easy, but it's a thin line between getting ****-wrecked and remembering the fight or having no recollection of the past month.

One thing that might be overlooked before the fight - they both rely on very sharp and refined skill sets, but the only way to keep those skills sharp is by fighting. Rigo has like 3 rounds in the last two years, if he hasn't been hitting the gym damn near every day in that period, I don't care how good and gifted he is, some of those skills have to have atrophied. And that's just the way it is, no if and's or but's about it.

It all sounds immaculate as I'm typing it but my lack of intelligence can't be hidden once I hit the post button. Lol nah man sorry if that's how it sounded. Have fun tonight brother and hope the weather is alright. Here in Massachusetts we're getting rocked with snow.

You must love the smell of your own farts! Did you actually just quote yourself too? Lol
Neither guy is a fully rounded fighter? I'm sorry but with the amateur pedigree that these two have you're speaking out of your arse.
Your arrogance astounds me and this drivel you have written is just self serving bull**** which I'm sure you gobble up fart out then bask in the aroma of self satisfaction

Like Leonard against Hagler it is Rigondeaux who wanted the fight. I believe he consider it a possibillty to take the verdict. His footmovement and reflexed are the best in boxing. He can stay at distance for 12 rounds if he need to. He probably have developed a ko punch if you check his ladst fights.
Lomachenko is a P4P boxer top class but i doubt he can touch Rigondeaux as much as he wants.

The only chance of this happening is only if Loma takes some hits from Rigondeaux flush and gets discouraged to continue to implement their original plan. And their original plan, as far as I understand, is Seek & Destroy mission. :) After some usual probing, of course.

One more thing to look out for - usually when there is a noticeable size differential between two fighters, if the noticeably bigger guy is almost as fast and almost as athletic as the smaller guy if not faster and more athletic, the bigger guy's power just went up 10 fold and the smaller guy will be vulnerable to getting hurt much easier than he usually does. If someone is just flat out bigger than their opponent and as good an athlete if not better, let's just say the smaller guy doesn't wanna see the mitts. Look at Matthysse-Postol and Cotto-Ali. People were saying Cotto had trouble with faster fighters, and he did to a degree, but still beat some of the fastest fighters in the sport. When he was the smaller and slower/less athletic guy, then he was in trouble. Postol isn't a hard puncher at all and he broke Matthysse's orbital bone.

That said, Rigo rarely gets touched up, and he's just short enough with just enough reach to feel very awkward for Loma and as defensive as he is, being the smaller guy obviously presents a smaller target and he is also at just the right height to really get a lot of leverage on an overhand left.

Everything about this fight is to some kind of extreme. Maybe the most unpredictable fight I've ever tried analyzing.

Exactly. Rigondeglass is packing some VERY shaky whiskers, and they WILL be exposed in this fight. It might be even earlier than you are predicting.

Loma handling the likes of quick southpaw GRJ & the super talented 'willow the wisp' type fighter Andrew Selby gives me a bit more confidence in Loma Here... He can handle speed.
