Was getting clipped by a lot of power shots, luckily he was fighting a super middle who couldn’t punch.

How long before gets his first loss and who could be the man to inflict it ?

He was getting hit with big shots tonight far too often. Can't see him winning a title in such a stacked division, but then again he has the equaliser so he may go further than his ability.

He is hugely over hyped, he is a brutal KO waiting to happen in my opinion.

I agree he did get hit to often, and I know the guy was up a weight, but it was a step up and he had never been stopped. He's another fighter with power that we don't know much about his engine or chin yet.But an ok performance at this stage for me.

I missed this fight tonight so can't comment until I've seen it but N17 is probably referring to the fact that in order to grab a world title Yarde will most likely need to take on Beterbiev, Kovalev, Bivol or Gvozdyk. If Yarde was indeed getting clipped flush tonight by a B- fighter then yes he will eventually be KTFO when he steps up to world level.

I think the point is he is very easy to hit, he was fighting a Super Middleweight but the division he is in is a tough one.

There are a lot of very solid punchers and when he steps up if he is hit that easily then he will get KTFO.

    Nailed.

There are a few fighters most would regard below that little list who can punch hard enough to give Yarde serious problems.

There was a very nice left hook in the 2nd round which hurt Yarde, the guy is a light hitting SMW. Imagine if that was Kovalev or Barrera.

Not beating on Yarde too much, he did fine overall.

A few of the shots caught his attention. I’m
not saying he’s got a bad chin but the regularity he was getting hit with was worrying.

It was a good learning fight for him

Iv never really rated yarde the way some seem to do.
After the 2nd round tonight yarde confirmed my suspicians.
Whilst yarde is no doubt decent at he still needs a lot if work.
He was easy to hit and his defence isnt good enough. Good counterpunchers with pop would give yarde nighmares.
He needs to stop the shoulder rolling for a start. i think hes using it to look flash instead if its real purpose.

This is nonsense and you know it. Did you just get off the phone to Yarde and he told you he was hurt by the punch?

This is boxing not breakdancing, if some peoples expectation is that Anthony is not supposed to get hit before he reaches the big time, and if he does he’s a KO waiting to happen then I guess there is no point debating anything.

And also, for anybody knows Yarde might have a chin like Eubank Snr-nobody knows what his whiskers are made of yet.

Be an exciting journey with Yarde as he's entertaining, though he has major flaws that I believe will see him badly hurt v a world class puncher. Too easy to hit, off balance too much feet go square and has lack of fitness. Good to watch though as he's very offensive and has power.

What the hell was he doing trying to act all slick on the backfoot he was against a super middle that couldn't punch and that shoulder roll was terrible he doesn't want to try that against a top light heavy
