The old small Rigondeaux didn't want to fight, not sure what was the reason, but he was not fighting. You can tell that the reason is Loma, but he isn't. Rigo was not fighting and ended miserably. Not sure what it gives to Loma, just leaves questions. Not the thing was expecting from this fight.... I am happy that Loma mentioned that it is not Rigo weight category.
Same with Walters , two big fights that could have proved Loma is a top P4P , but at the end both quit from the beginning.
Such win doesn't... Rigo just spoiled it by not fighting. Loma is p4p #1 talent, but when opponents come without intention to fight it just ruins everything.
Say that to everyone Loma fought, because it seems that since that loss to Salido nobody fought against Loma, he dominated every round pretty much since then of every fight.
I don't care about Loma nor Rigo. Just the hype about the fight and about two fighters. Started watching the fight and just didn't see anything that showed that Rigo wanted to fight, kinda suspect for a two times olympic champion.
Doesn't spoiled it, makes it better. Most fights are won by physically beating a man. Loma beat him both physically and mentally. The "Master boxer" was forced to concede and kneel to a True boxing Genius. Loma is P4P number 1 and no one is even close to second.
I think it's lomachenkos unorthodox footwork that perplexes and frustrates his opponents. Something about loma's style opens him up to all kinds of fouls. Salido had the blueprint outside of the lowblows salido threw wide looping hooks which is a higher percentage shot against the lateral movement of lomachenko.
