This felt like a late career Bobby Chacon fight. And I don't mean the last Limon or Boza fights, I mean the Frias fight, when Chacon had nothing left and fought in slow motion, yet it was still a wild war.

Salido tearing up as his trainer cuts off his wraps. Brutal scene.

I'm done. Every pick loss tonight. Even Traux won a belt WTF?! Expect the unexpected.

Salido made good fights but I can't praise him because of his willingness to fight dirty to turn things in his favor. Good riddance.

Siri had a bunch of KO losses already, but most were in the 1990's.

Román is the first to get the job done in just shy of eighteen years (Ivan Valle knocked out Salido in March 2000) - and look at the roster Salido has faced in that eighteen years.

Dirty tactics is part of the sport. This is organized gangsta street fighting. Its roots are in the dirty tactics. Businessmen tamed it and called it Toby, but in the streets its Kunta Kinte.
Salido is the last gunslinger like Hopkins was.

He looked finished in the corner after the fight. That look in his face said it all.

Loma won’t get that scalp. Sad.

Ah come on, he's dirty like many fighters, BHop and Ward come to mind. He's a warrior's warrior, I wish he'd fight fair more often,. but he leaves his blood sweat and tears in the ring every time he gets in there. He's a beast and deserves max respect for that at least.

Glad he retired with dignity and didn't take the Chenko rematch.
