JIm McDonnell is no great shakes in the corner, is he?
De Gale an his team were poor. De Gale looks "washed up" to me. Sad really- I like De Gale.

Woodhall is a bit hit and miss- he is better in the analyst role than actually calling the fight live.

The standard of commentary on UK shows this year has been terrible, with Ronald McIntosh and Adam Smith being particularly terrible.

McDonnell a bit exposed last night. Clueless corner work, and told DeGale he was winning after six!?

Did you see when Macintosh was interviewing de gale in the ring post fight ...McDonnell was straining to eyeball dégale ...staring intently at him as he was talking....as if to communicate to him not to say anything "controversial" ???? It was sooo obvious!

He makes some astute observations and technically can be decent. But he is often biased as ****

I like Woodhall as commentator and as a person, but sometimes he is too biased and he talks rubbish sometimes.

He was talking once with BJS and he was so far up his arse it wzas painful to watch and listen to, he was saying how BJS is the best middle-weight in the world, and onc of the greatest fighters Britain has produced !!!

Adam Smith is the absolute worst. Every weekend it's the same stuff

"Your Gatti Wards, your Barrera Morales"
"He just looked into his corner as if to say..."

Never know what to make of Big Ronald though. He was stitched up a bit on WBSS being left alone and he is weirdly interesting to listen to but with little substance

I agree with you jr. Ritchie makes for a better analyst, mackintosh isnt up to much and neither is smith.
Ritchies bias, usually works like this-
Anyone with the same style he had.
Anyone with a similar style he had.
    G.B amateurs.
    Home fighters.
Ritchie cant see past his own nose sonetimes but i do like him as a analyst

He communicates well but to me you can't be a good analyist if your inherently bias

As I've said before, the best set up is what Channel 5 used to do with Farrar/Bernstein/Woodhall. And if Channel 5 can do it, BT/Sky can do something similar.
