Wont matter here. Rigo has a glass jaw and is the smaller man. This is a horrific fight for Rigo, and if he wins, it's one of the ATG wins
Yep, Rigo's suspect chin might spell trouble for him. Loma is certainly going to land more than Rigo's other opponents.
Rigo is a fantastic fighter but Loma is supernatural....he has a great chin when it is hit and his movement makes him near impossible to time.....to time a fighter he has to have a rhythm to time Loma doesn't seem to have one. He has that rare ability to see the punches coming as the other fighter thinks it this is years and years of muscle conditioning and recognition of the other fighters fine muscle twitches as he starts the process of punching some fighters like Benitez, Pep and others had this freakish instinct and vision Loma is one of the best so far. Martial Artists in China train to see the beginning of the punch before it is actually thrown. The only counter is a fighter with timing he can't recognize with speed he can't time and Rigo may have it but I don't see it the angles and footwork of Loma wins this
I pick Rigo. although at 37 he is old for that weight class. I say Rigo by late knockout.. Believe it or not.
Two fighters like this who are technical will somehow get a knockout. Happened with Hearns vs. Leonard. The opening thrown open up a fighter.
Conlan fighting with hands low. Crawford commentating: "You know, I also fight sometimes with my hands low. It's whatever makes you comfortable." Interesting, since you often hear old school fighters techniques being criticized for this reason.
Like I said angles and footwork too much for even Rigo.....Loma is the greatest talent I have ever seen. The foot speed he can juke and jive at makes him near impossible to time.
Thing is, Crawford fights nothing like the old school fighters whose techniques get criticized for that reason.
Very disappointed by Rigo. Loma put in a great performance, even though he hardly hit Rigo with anything solid. Very strange fight.
