If Russell Jr. never faced Lomachenko, he'd be on the P4P list today

He'd be in the top 10.

In fact, I still think he is a P4P talent, despite losing to Lomachenko. He put up a good fight. If Rigo is still in the Top 10, Russel Jr. should be in the Top 10. Afterall, he did much better than Rigo.

Russell vs Rigo. Someone should try to make it happen.

If only Roc Nation and Haymon were in better terms. I think it'd be a great fight.

No he wouldn't and based on what?
Plenty of guys have win streaks that were never on any opinionated P4P list.

I agree, he was by far the best opponent Loma faced, and he is arguably the only opponent since Salido who won more than 1 round vs Loma.

His win streak, his undefeated record and his dominant win against a surging Gonzalez (who previously knocked out the undefeated and P4P prospect Abner Mares).

Gary Russell Jr is on the Adonis Stevenson career path. He simply doesn't want to be great, he is content with fighting overmatched opponents once a year.

Wish Gary would fight more often. Guy has great talent and can be great but I can't remember the last time I even saw him

If GRJ was more active he might be on the P4P list

Id like to see the rematch, but I doubt there would be anything GRJ can do different to beat Loma. At this point its going to take a fighter with a Good Jab and great counter punching ability to beat Loma, and Russell just isn't it.
