What's left at 160 for Golovkin is the last belt and the 20 defence record.
If Saunders beat's Lemieux a fight with Saunders should be considered next by Team Golovkin.
If Lemieux wins a rematch with Golovkin wouldn't sell and Golovkin should look for an alternative
Canelo rematch, Charlo, Jacobs rematch, Murata. Anyway 2 more fights @160 and he should either retire at the end of 2018 or move up to 168 for 1 or 2 huge paydays

hes chasing Abrahams 10 defences at mo. It does noone any favours to exaggerate what hes done, and reads as a sarcastic insult to true 3G fans.

    4. lemmy
    5. wade
    6. brook
    7. jacobs
    8. canelo

perhaps adding Geale depending on whether he won the title that nigth or was awarded it before the fight.

Next fight will be 9th or 10th, so he will surely match abraham's record at least.

After that I think he chases Haglers record.

Saunders only became relevant in 2016, so... "years" how?

Saunders became relevant at the end of 2015 so it's 2 "years" now

anyway you can replace Saunders with Canelo, Cotto, Geale, Sturm, Mundine, Martinez or Chavez Jr they all ducked Golovkin for years

just about 2 years, so barely passable comment.

but no they didnt ALL duck 3G for years at all, dont lie on the forum thanks. 3G just stepped up recently, thats all.

I think about 2 years. He's clearly slower than he was a few years ago. He may go on after that but 2 years are the time I think he has left at the top.

He had everyone petrified until welterweight Brook showed them all up. Now, like most fans, fighters are seeing him slowing, and finding their balls a little easier.

GGG may have 1 solid performance left in him if its soon, but clocks ticking on his style !

no, they arent all doing that at all.

Geale Lemieux and Jacobs all fought 3G before he fought Canelo. And they fought him BECAUSE he had just become relevant with the ownership of a recognised world title. Thats a full roster of fights and you'd not be able to squeeze in others so its ludicrous to suggest more were avoiding him during this time when more fghts couldnt be added to his itinerary.

Ill be able to say for sure after the rematch with Canelo.. Looks like it will be announced soon from what Ive been reading.. Lets see how he looks.. But right now Id give him two or three the most and retire.. It all depends on who he fights as well..

Years? I'd say 3 fights, if we're lucky.
