Here's a couple problems with how you see the outcome of the fight. First Mayweather is more explosive than Lomachenko and has more power. That matters and if he lands on Loma he will immediately back him up and Loma needs to get inside. Floyd can fight on the inside, but Loma's better on the inside. Mayweather does what he does well and you're right if he can constantly jab and move and land he will run away with the decision. The problem is Loma is a southpaw, it's harder to land a jab against a southpaw and if Floyd shoots his jab or straight right and he misses now he's already shot his punch. He's then vulnerable to being countered or out of position, then he cannot control range and Loma's got a free shot to get into the inside. And what if Floyd shoots a straight, misses and he's not distributed his weight evenly, he can't escape, Loma comes in and bangs him. I believe that at 130 Loma is the superior technical fighter. Mayweather's full technical ability wasn't developed until around 2005 or so. That was Floyd's peak, but he did not have the same size and power at 140 as he did at 130 pounds.

I will say that Floyd is more explosive, but Loma is quicker. Floyd is like Russell Westbrook and Loma is like Tony Parker. Different type of speed, both have their usefulness.

Loma is actually good on the inside. His 65 inch reach makes it so that he can shoot short hooks and counters. Did you see in the Rigo fight how Loma took advantage of Rigo on the inside? Once Rigo shot his jab and Loma blocked it now Rigo is out of position and Loma walks right in on the inside. And many times Rigo had too much weight on the backfoot and his front foot he had all his weight distributed on the heel. So he was screwed, he couldn't move. If Mayweather starts missing his jab which he could very well do a lot because Loma is a southpaw then he's in trouble.

I think a more fair fight would be a 2005 Mayweather against a current Loma, if Floyd could have somehow still made 130. I think a 2001 Mayweather is just going to be too green against Loma. He's just too polished of a fighter for a young Floyd to handle.

If Loma feints him, makes Floyd miss with his jab and straight right hand then he gets inside and mid range. Then he starts to rack up rounds and wins 7-8 rounds. That's the Loma recipe for a win.

How Mayweather wins. Land hard right hands. Don't miss the jab. Don't react to feints. Don't get too stagnant. Stay balanced. The Floyd wins 7-8 rounds.

It appears to me as though a few people are picking Loma based upon their dislike of Floyd.

I think at this stage, Floyd would had to have been favoured.

I also think that people don't realise how significant Floyd's reach advantage would have been. At 72" it was huge for a man of his size, fighting in those lower weight classes.

Yes he has the reach. But if Mayweather misses his straight then what is to stop Loma from walking in?

If they were the same size I honestly think the fight would be epic and I think a case could be made for either guy... (though Id probably lean towards Loma if im being honest)

    But...

They arent the same size... mayweathers size would probably make the difference.

    May UD.

I've been riding on board the Lomachenko Express for about 124 moons now and I already got word to the driver to really ramp up that speed. And I told him to honk that horn as loud as he can while he's doing it because is going to be full stream ahead from here on in. This train is going to roll right over anyone that gets in its way, so the best bet for all of the sceptics and unbelievers is to jump on board and enjoy the ride lol.

Thanks I enjoyed that, she's good. I like her voice and her guitaring and the energy she brought to the song. I like how she put her own stamp on it too. Definitely different to the original.

You've probably seen this one already as it's a very popular one. But just in case you haven't.

    What's the connection?

Slickness. It's like kryptonite to him. Floyd's more terrified of slickness than he is a prime Manny.

Yea I certainly have seen that one that dude is gifted and has spent years perfecting his craft. I grew up in New York so riding the subway you see talented people all the time sharing their gifts to the riders (even when you’re not in the mood)

Like I mentioned earlier Loma has all the tools and he’s pathing the right path though I wouldn’t appoint him just yet. I have no doubt he will reach a lofty status and my belief that a prime 135lbs Floyd is simply to good for him head to head doesn’t mean he can’t write his own fairy tale and storied career.

Remember this “The jungles creed says that the strongest feed on any prey they can and I was branded top beast at every feast before I ever became a man”

Not sure why I quoted that other than it’s very cool LMFAO

If you have any access to Bivol’s stylist whatsoever you should definitely suggest that he grows an afro just like that, it’s fabulous! We could call him the Mongolian Leon Spinks!

That speed of that drummer's hands when he turned it up was very impressive. I like seeing people doing creative things, parents should always try and encourage their children to be creative it's very important.

You're entitled to your opinion too. I haven't even really given the fight any thought to be honest - I'm just enjoying a bit of trolling and banter. Floyd's 50-0 is a special feat, but going 402-1 as an amateur (loss avenged x 2) seriously impresses me as it should everyone. Only a very special fighter achieves something like that. It's actually insane when you think about it. But Floyd was a very special talent too and I've never denied that.

    lol That's a great quote
