Lomachenko can spend the next 5 years beating up people at a lesser level than rigo. Just because he's 20-1 doesn't make his skill set any better.

Two gold medals isn’t a small achievement. I’m just asking for people to let him dismantle some more solid fighters which I’m sure he will. You can’t compare a team that has played 5 games to a team that’s played 20 the sample size is too small.

400 amateur fights is not the "same" as 400 pro fights...it's tougher. In the pros, fighters and their managers can pick their opponents. Smart managers can find "name" opponents who aren't training because of personal problems but need money, they can find opponents who don't match up well with their fighter, they can find opponents who just lose...They can build a good record with little risk.

In the amateurs, boxers don't usually get to pick who they will fight. And, when an amateur enters a tournament, he fights until he either loses a fight or wins the tournament. At the level that Lomachenko and Rigondeaux fought in the amateurs, they were fighting in tournaments against the best amateurs in the world. They didn't have the luxury of fighting out of condition, and/or unmotivated opponents.
