Vasyl Lomachenko VS Jose Luis Castillo who fought Mayweather

I have to go with Castillo on this one. Hard to pick Loma after how he handled Salido's pressure and rough house tactics.

I guess in this scenario, Castillo will come in heavy as well, since you're tit for tatting him to Salido? Wouldn't be the first time Jose's done that....

If it's Loma's 2nd pro fight Castillo wins. Against current Loma then Loma wins.

    Loma easy UD

Salido was probably the right man at the right place at the perfect time lol. That Warlando loss might done more good than bad to Lomachenko. You cant say he didnt learn anything from it

Of course he learned something from it. Especially when you consider the type of fighter Lomachenko is, a fighter who is a student of boxing.

With that said, Lomachenko does exceptionally well against fighters who want to box him, but as we have seen, he seems to have trouble with strong pressure fighters, and considering JLC is a much better fighter than Salido, I have my doubts about a Loma victory.

I'm fairly confident JCC Sr. would do a number on Loma too.

Castillo would be up in his chest from start to finish. Has Loma fought a fighter like that since Salido? I think Castillo takes this one fairly easily.

Loma in his 2nd fight? Don't know

    Loma now?
    Loma by 'No mas'

Castillo was stopped 4 times before Floyd fights, and struggled mightly vs Stevie Johnson who is smaller than Loma and worse at everything literally

    This nonsense has to stop.

In sweeping the championship rounds, including battering Salido in the 12th, Lomachenko demonstrated the ability to adjust in-fight to Salido's goon tactics. Had it been an old school 15 round affair, Lomachenko would very likely have stopped the game but limited Mexican.

Moreover, no sane person doubts how the rematch (Lomachenko by late KO or WIDE UD) would have ended.

As for the question you posed, I think Lomachenko wins a 116-112 type decision.

Lol! Lomachenko schools him and it wouldn’t be close. UD and he doesn’t get outboxed like Floyd did in the first fight ;)

We will have to see how Loma handle 135 first which he hasn't done yet.
But my gut feeling is that Castillo will got outboxed.
    Loma is that good.

Loma for sure. The Salido fight was in his 2nd fight and still honing his professional style and gaining professional experience inside the ring. Too many dimensions from a very dynamic boxer for JLC to overcome in my opinion.

What nonsense? A legitimate fantasy matchup, unlike the Loma Nuthuggers who post SRR vs Loma?

Salido just tired. Castillo never tired in his prime, was a much better pressure fighter, and had a much much better chin than Salido.

Well obviously, Salido is shot and was already past his prime/best when he beat Lomachenko. Against a prime Salido, Loma loses a wider decision.

Fair enough, a real possibility, but I'm inclined to go with JLC, as he is a much more complete fighter than Salido.
