from the powers-that-be in boxing?! They do not like the truth to be told! Over the years I have sometimes disagreed with Teddy Atlas, but the "REAL" reason Teddy will not be calling the fights is because he told the truth about corruption, esp. in the Pac/Horn fight and about the corrupt judge Byrd! The powers that be in boxing did not like Teddy telling the truth! Bob Bennett told me on the phone that he did not like Teddy Atlas, he is the Nevada boxing commissioner, so that explains it. Bob Bennett claims that Byrd is one of the best boxing judges judging boxing today! What?! Bob picked Byrd as a judge for the Golovkin/El Pollo fight! You heard what he said post-fight...........you heard the reporter tell Bob that he would probably lose his boxing press card for asking questions about the corrupt judging! Read the Judd Berstein letter about corruption in boxing.........you will be shocked, but probably not be surprised at what has gone on in boxing, esp. in Vegas! Honestly, does anyone here think that boxing is not corrupt?! Bob Bennett said that boxing fans do not know how to judge a fight, he is wrong, it's the judges who don't know how to judge a fight! Hell, Farmer's loss is a good example on corruption, Kovalev/Ward, the decision and the low blows! Golovkin/El Pollo, Pac/Bradley, Pac/Horn, too many to write! It's time fans make themselves heard! I have my favorite fighters, but I always want to see a level playing field! How many times have you seen the house fighter lose a fight, that was one-sided, yet we knew to whom the judges would give their decision?! Once in a while we will see fair judging, but that's an exception........as many times as I have been angered by Teddy Atlas, I will miss him a lot, he is a part of boxing history! Shame on ESPN! Atlas has lived with Cus D'Amato, Tyson, Kevin Rooney, etc., he knows boxing history............Cus always made them study the old boxing films, he made them learn about boxing..........

I did not always like Teddy, but he told the truth about the Pac/Horn fight and he also told the truth about the corrupt judge Byrd, everyone knows how bad she is, and I mean for years! 10 - 2 rounds for El Pollo over Golovkin?! Boxing is corrupt...............we all know that.................look what happened to Tevin Farmer!

Actually, Teddy has about 3 more years in his contract, so he will be doing interviews with fighters, etc., at least until his contract is up............

How could you defend him in almost any capacity?

Should have happened years ago. Atlas is an attention ***** clown.

No way Top Rank and Golden Boy were going to stand for Teddy being on the telecasts after their big deals with ESPN this year. He already poisoned the mind of the casual viewer in regards to Jeff Horn of which I'm sure Top Rank and Arum were furious.

Same as Larry Merchant, they were taken to pasture too late.

I like Teddy, I wish we had someone like him in the UK but Sky and Boxnation all have company men commentary teams.

And painful use of ellipses. Too many exclamation points, also.

I was more courteous. Started to read and gave up a few lines in, on suspicion that CJ has two accounts.

The real matter is boxing's popularity can sink even lower yet we'll still have guaranteed record purses in the future.

    Wink-wink, nudge-nudge.
