Can't see Ortiz being as big a threat as he was the previous 2/3 years now. Good test for Wilder in comparison to every other opponent he's ever fought.
Something will prevent this fight..........Wilder is just lying, he wants to save face, but the rescue will come when Breazeale stops the fight because he is the mandatory, is owned by Haymon, plus, knocked out by Joshua already! Breazeale can't fight at all, so that makes him mandatory, no joke! Mandatory, but not ranked top.................others are ranked above him, even Ruiz, Whyte, Miller I don't know his ranking...............
I'll believe it when I see it. But I hope it happens, Wilder's step up to genuine world class has been a long time coming. Not sure who will win. I think Wilder has a style advantage with his height, speed, movement. But any mistakes and Ortiz will knock him the **** out.
If Ortiz is not too old he will be very dangerous for Wilder, all he has to do is land one good punch and Wilder's glass will be broken, but Breazeale is his mandatory..................
Wilder vs. Brezeale in March-April. Wilder vs. Ortiz in August-September. /end 2018 EDIT: No, not saying this is a good thing. Would like Ortiz up next, I guess (if no Joshua/Parker/Povetkin, which seems very unlikely anyways).
I absolutely want the fight. Who else is Wilder going to fight? The biggest opponents for Wilder would be (in no order): Povetkin Parker Joshua Ortiz T. Fury Sounds like Parker and Joshua are squaring off. Obviously the Fury fight isn't happening soon. So I say Ortiz and Povetkin represent the best fights Wilder could make. I definitely don't care to see Wilder versus Breazeale or Whyte. Both would be garbage fights.
King Kong is possibly the hardest puncher at Short to Mid-Range, it could be exaggerated due to his bulky build, but the guy has deadly stopping power & very high accuracy. At mid range he hits harder & more accurate Than Joshua or Wilder. Deontay Wilder obviously preferred fighting Joshua because he has Stamina issues & Wilder knows he can be stop him late if the early power is not enough. If undefeated puncher King Kong also has an iron chin to withstand Wilder power, then Wilder will have to resort to using his athletic speed advantage & box 12 rounds. Due to King Kong style, he will be dangerous to KO any heavyweight, until the final bell. Everybody ducked King Kong (PED as the excuse), but if King kong can upset Wilder, Joshua will not be able to duck him, either way winner of this fight KOs Joshua (heavier PED user than King kong) & has serious stamina issues that can't be fixed. I favor Wilder to win a decision (50%) Early KO by Wilder (35%) KO by King Kong (15%)
Wilder Ortiz is next like I said. Wilder is going to knock Ortiz the **** out. Ortiz called Joshua a scared little girl. So Wilder will beat his ass since Joshua keeps hiding behind Hearn.
