Great one, although the one against Mundane was better i think because Mumdanes jaw was far more tested if i recall?

Terry Flanagan destroying Diego Magdaleno. Flanagan's best performance.

I enjoyed watching Sprott jump around in shock after that hook landed. Youtube is amazing.

Youtube is the best thing to happen to boxing in decades. It's an incredible tool/resource for fight fans.

I can't imagine being a fan decades ago, trying to catch certain fights.

I was a fan many decades ago, it was all about the boxing mags back then!!! I would keep stopping in at the magizine stores each month praying for the latest copy that would have a page of 'RESULTs' that i would flip to right away!!

If the prospects i was following had won i would be happy if they got beat i would be stunned!

Now we have not only the results but the entire fight or bits of it at our finger tips!

One last note, after i would read all the latest mags i would become the go to guy for boxing knowledge from my group of friends, for a brief period in time decades ago i was the CST of my gang. Mind you i didnt work as hard as he does, lol

I've always heard that, that boxing magazines used to be huge and a primary source of information for fight fans. Not so much a thing anymore, but then again, most of print media in general is halfway to going the way of the dodo.

I honestly don't have any magazines myself, which is a shame. I just haven't been following the sport for long enough I suppose. Must have been an incredibly exciting experience finally getting a new magazine back in the day.

In recent years, this has to be one of the most devastating knockouts I've seen from a guy with a sub-50% knockout ratio. Brutal.

See, that's a horse of a different color IMO. Selby turned out not to be the featherfist his early career record indicated. Was a late bloomer in the power dept., like Hasegawa. Proved the stoppage of Smith was no fluke by doing the same to Simpson, Okine, McConnell, Munroe, and Brunner and has dropped several of the guys he went to decisions with.

Pernell Whitaker was not known for his punching power, but his KO of Diosbelys Hurtado was really nasty and unexpected. His ko1 win over Juan Nazario for lightweight unification was also a surprise.
