Very well put, Im picking Douglas too. It's going to be interesting, I'm rooting for Spike but I think Douglas wins this. I think Rosado would have beaten Spike as well.
He has heart and determination. Always back an Irish man who has to fight to gain something .Spike was very well known as an amiture for speed and boxing skill but the problem game you need knockouts to get noticed .With no financial backer and needed to pay bills he took a lot of fights when injured and unfit .He fought mainly cause he needed the money and knew he needed a knockout to get another payday. That's what ye who don't know him see on YouTube a tough guy swinging. I expect to see a fit and quick balanced Spike with boxing IQ fight Saturday. He finally got his inner ear drum issue fixed and another issue fixed so let's see what Spike turns out on V Douglas.
I remember Spikes early fights down in Cork. Hes a good showman, but very limited. Ive actually put a pretty large bet on Douglas for this one, having got him at 4/7 which I thought were generous odds. This has all the hallmarks of a guy with a nice record being fed to an up and coming fighter.
Rosado? You mean Douglas? Bit rash saying "definitely" here...there is nothing definite about this fight!
I don't feel Spike is capable of applying anywhere near the volume or quality of pressure needed, that was shown to be required by Khurtsidze, to "bust Antoine's pipes".
No Rosado. That' who Snatchbox mentioned. I know hes fighting Douglas. Yeah but Wepner beating Holyfield ???? lol
