    I lean towards Lemieux.

I hear what people are saying about Billy's boxing ability, but I think that case is in danger of being overstated. At least in the last two years, I haven't seen the slick, silky, razor sharp boxer-mover that BJS needs to be to win decisively away from home against a devastating puncher.

Fitness...I know Billy will have worked his arse off since joining Ingle, but he admits that he hasn't been living the life pretty much his whole career. Can you undo all that in a couple of training camps? BJS is 28 now - exactly the sort of age where a consistent lack of dedication, over a period of years, tends to come back to haunt a fighter in the championship rounds. How many times have we seen it before. Lemieux is a basic fighter (thought Stevens was doing a reasonable job of frustrating him before he got laid out) and his engine is not the best either, but I can see the late stoppage a little bit easier than I can see Billy still bobbing and weaving in the 12th.

Hopefully proven wrong as we don't wanna lose another British world champion.

Not like real PPV. What they done for Canelo GGG and another fight.

For example I have box nation but it comes free with my BT but to watch those fights I needed to pay again as I weren’t subscribing direct through boxnation.

The facts are come forward fighters are made to measure for BJS.

This is also clearly a BJS motivated by travelling to Canada and by the fact DL is an elite fighter

On the other side he is getting to 28 now and is slowing down, and has let himself balloon up in weight. He also lacks stamina as a result. You get the sense that he is not super motivated at all times.

BJS has to be a favourite to get the 12 UD win. But I wouldnt completely rule out DL catching him in the last few rounds with something big and getting a KO win.

    Are you on the wind-up?
He's been there nearly 3 weeks and paid to take people over.

If Saunders makes a mistake..................he can't afford to make a mistake, he is not Golovkin................Saunders did beat Eubank, Jr, but refused to fight Golovkin for any amount of money..................no one can be sure of this fight, but Lemieux can punch extremely hard....................Saunders did not look good in his last fight, he had better be much better for this fight............

Saunders was up for fighting GGG and Canelo. They didn’t happen through no fault of his own. He wanted to rematch Eubank Jn and he wouldn’t sign the contract either. I’m not suggesting GGG and Canelo ducked him, not in the slightest, but I think that maybe from their perspective, he’s a high risk fight.

For the sake of the mw division I would rather BJS win, but I have a bad feeling about this one.

According to BJS, he turned down the Golovkin fight because the money wasn't right. He claimed GGG's team offered $1.5 million to fight in America, which was nowhere near what he was looking for.

GGG claimed he offered way more than that (US media reported different figures, between $2.5-4 million) and that Saunders was ducking and holding the belt hostage.

It's maybe only Frank Warren and Tom loeffler that know the truth, the only thing we can say for certain is negotiations broke down.

Do we have an idea of when the ring walks will be? I’m on the lash tonight but gonna get back in for this.

To be fair mate, I don't know if Golovkin considers Billy a high risk. Don't forget, not so long ago GGG was desperate for opponents at middleweight. Personal opinion is that it's only when Danny Jacobs made GGG look very human that BJS and others (including Canelo) got truly interested in fighting him

I know this is the British board and sentiment plays a big role here, but how many of you are really (or at least almost) certain that Saunders will leave Canada with his belt?

A lot of the reasons and praises here seem to be misdirected too. A couple of examples.
    - Lemieux will gas after n rounds. > So will Saunders. Both their stamina has improved though, although Lemieux is infinitly more active in the ring of course, so we'll see.
    - Saunders is sure of himself and that's why he travels to Canada. > With Lemieux as mandatory and GBP backing him, there was no way this was going to happen in Britain. Saunders is cashing out.
    - Lemieux' style is taylor made for Saunders. > No it isn't at all. All his toughest moments were when his opponent pressed the action, he wants his opponent static.
    - Saunders is a master boxer and will school Lemieux. > Where does that come from? He can box for sure, but has been in very close fights with lesser and less experienced boxers.
    - Lemieux is a monster puncher but it's hard to hit Saunders clean. > Not in the fights I saw... Still think it's a miracle he edged Lee and Jr without going down.
    - Saunders isn't going to fight on the back foot or back down, and is going to meet Lemieux in the middle of the ring. > If he really does that, I predict Lemieux KO4.

Then, all his bigger fights were razor close... you really think he'll get the nod without his home advantage and actually fighting in the belly of the GBP powered beast if it's even remotely close?
