Floyd struggled with Maidana who was a stylistic nightmare for him and then completely shut him out in the second fight. That was directly after coming off a very impressive win against Canelo. Floyd looked like he lost half a step at best but that's nothing compared to how Pac regressed.

I don’t think he’s comparing Rigo to JMM as boxers. Their styles are very different. I think he was calling out Floyd for saying he didn’t fight a smaller guy like Loma did against Rigo.

When JMM fought Floyd, he jumped up 2 weight classes to meet him at welterweight which is similar to what Rigo did in jumping up 2 weight classes to fight Loma.

 

Floyd should feel privileged that there are such comparisons.
