What does Rigo need to do to redeem himself?

    Beaten, embarrassed, quitting, and now stripped of his title. Is there any way Rigo can somehow turn this around?
    He has no personality and his boxing style is just not fan friendly for people to want to watch him on tv. So what would he have to do to fully redeem himself?

    Ive actually appreciate his boxing style, defense and skills but I do acknowledge that, as skilled and talented as he is, he has his limitations and it was only a matter of time for someone to expose and take advantage of it. I feel that Rigo can still face the likes of Frampton and Cruz and possibly beat them. The only question is if they’ll give him that chance to fight at a high level again.

    He can't. He was already one foot out of the door. He's been extremely avoided and very inactive at 37 years of age he might only fight 2 or 3 times again and no fight will be against anyone of any relevance.

    Fight one more easy fight and retire. He hasn't done **** since Donaire and then gets back on the big stage and quits. Plus he's not getting any younger

    Will be tough, he will be on the road. He may need to move to 118, so he can just go after guys and destroy them. A shame he never tried to develop his infighting, likely a product of fighting a weight class or two to high.

    First... Issue a letter of apology to fight fans and to Loma himself for disrespecting the sports PFP #1. Then offer to work in Loma’s camp for a year free of charge carrying spit buckets, being a live punching bag for spars, cleaning the bathroom etc. In other words attend the Lomachenko school of boxing on his own dime. He’s already gotten one free class... and the Turd hasn’t even said thank you to team Loma for it.


    Then win a few meaningful fights and THANK Vasyl for making him a better boxer and man after each match.


    We’ll start there.

    Don't even try to act like this makes up for Ward turning Kovalev into his *****. There was no punishment delivered by Lomachenko. Ward, who isn't anywhere near being considered a hard puncher, turned Kovalev's chin into plastic, and made him bend over like a Cabin Boy repeatedly with hard body shots.

    I would say that he should get a string of low level comp and actually start going on the offense and knocking guys out. That would be a start. He has that ability. Maybe he can get back with Freddie Roach and he could help fine tune his style like what he did with Cotto.
    But given his age I don’t even know if it’s possible to train him to be more offensive minded.
