Saunders is varying his lead, using the right jab when circling counter-clockwise and the lead left when going the other way. Lemieux isn't able to get close to him. Lemieux pawing a jab and pumping the occasional 1-2 into the air but just following, perplexed by Saunders' speed and awkwardness. Saunders starting to put together fancy footwork sequences and other acts of derring-do, like a lead left uppercut/right hook combo.

Still 8 rounds to go for Lemmy to land that sweet shot, but like I predicted, BJS too slick for Lemieux.

 

So far this is the kind of performance BJS has needed not to lose a close and highly controversial decision in DL's backyard. 8 more rounds(assuming it goes the distance) but this is shaping up to be the best performance of his career.

Saunders output is dropping mind you, not surprising though with him.

Probably already got all of the early rounds to cover him if he loses any of the later ones.

 

In the fourth as Lemieux presses harder Saunders showing really slick D inside! Saunders just boxing even more masterfully. Lemieux looked pathetic and clueless.

 

Sanders can finish the fight if he goes to Lemieux's body.

 

David's corner has demanded that he focus 80% of his punches on the body.
