Not sure, but it does look like he has T-Rex arms. I was going to point that out during the fight. Lemieux was getting absolutely measured and pepper sprayed from the outside.

Well I have to give him credit here. He looked very good last night. Probably the best performance of his life. Lemieux couldn't do a **** in his backyard... I am really one of the guys that was always thinking that BJS is one of the many british overhyped boxers, but he proved me wrong.

I think aspects of Jacobs style cause issues for Saunders, but overall it's a great, close matchup, and I don't see how Jacobs should be clearly favoured. I actual favour Saunders over GGG so decisively that I don't really care to see it. Saunders against Jacobs and Canelo are great boxing matces! Charlo's a good fight for him too, but we should have to lean pretty clearly to the smarter, tidier Saunders in that one.

Yeah he's very crude. Even if he had a longer reach he would've been no match for Saunders. Saunders is a master at distance.

I bet some of these clowns have Jermallo rated over BJS 2.0 for beating that peg-leg cripple from the Pampas

Well one thing is we've never seen Saunders with a top elite tactician. Monroe is the closest you can get, and he's no Jacobs. All hisbest wins are against crude operators. Lee, Eubank Jr, and Lemieux. Also Saunders is definitely a tough fight for GGG but I wouldn't put to much stock into this performance. Lemieux is literally a caveman and no I'm not saying this to discredit Saunders, people on this forum will back me up and I've had hundreds of arguments about how crude he is for years. I wouldn't lean to Saunders clearly beating Charlo either. Before I favored Charlo now it's closer to 50/50 for me. I wouldn't mind seeing that next either.

Prime Pirog vs BJS 2.0 would literally be the slickest fight of all time. That's way too much slick for one ring.

Actually depending how things shake out in the coming year I may end up having to snip a few words from the thread title...

Saunders: “I’ve beaten enough dog meat now. Golovkin, you keep saying you wanted my WBO belt when I was 14 stone, out of shape, and wasn’t in love with boxing. Then you wanted to fight me. Fight me now! Now fight me. We’ll see a different story. You’ll be punching fresh air.”

    Epic call-out, 1st off.

Anyone think this version of Saunders could beat the slowed-down-a-step version of GGG that drew with Canelo?

He'd still probably never get picked over prime Golovkin in fantasy matchups even if he notched a h2h victory over an on the slide Golovkin now, but still...not outside the realm of possibility he could add both Golovkin and Canelo* to his record, which would make it maybe the best record at MW since...fuck, I don't even know. Definitely better than Hopkins', anyway, on quality. So then ...since, Hagler?

He definitely has a shot. GGG had major issues landing on Canelo landing early in that fight. When Canelo moved GGG had issues. Now GGG will definitely tire you out more than Lemieux with his pressure. It all depends on how long Saunders can sustain his stamina. I think Saunders takes the early rounds and GGG takes over mid-late.

 I think thousands of fans would die from a slickness overdose if those two ever shared the same ring lol

Let's say he cleans out Jacobs, Golovkin/Canelo (either defeats both, or realistically just defeats the winner of the rematch as that's for all intents and purposes close enough), and a Charlo.

All while CEJ sweeps that WSBB tourney and that win ages like fine wine, culminating in BJS winning a rematch. ("Oh what's That? You've improved since last we met. Lol. Hold my beer.")

How shit hot is that resume?
