Plus Lemieux has granite chin. GGG hits way harder than El Pollo and he needed 8rds to stop him. DL would walk thrue Canelos punches.

I think Canelo has the slightly better technique (Although the legend of his ability and especially counterpunching seem to have gone astronomical....), Lemmie likely has the edge is hand speed and power. And he's faced, and hurt, legitimate MW's. I see this as a 50-50 bout.

We'll never know. GBP will not allow Canelo to be within 100 miles of Lemieux let alone be in the same ring.

    Yes, I agree

But you know there be a Jose Cotto moment in there somewhere, maybe a little exhibition in the fine art of the stanky leg, before that counter closes the show

Canelo has underrated hand speed and defense I doubt Lemmy lands much of note. But he has a punchers chance.

50/50 fight. If it goes to decision, Canelo wins by a landslide regardless of canelo's condition.

I think Canelo, aside from having good defense and counterpunching ability, he'd have a good gameplan to neutralize Lemieux's best punch, the left hook, and control the pace of the fight with the jab. If there is some good toe to toe action, you know Canelo will be attacking that body. Canelo is not a tall middleweight, but he's still strong as hell, looks like a viking ffs.

    Canelo by TKO..

Lemieux is a puncher but is crude and can't really out box a boxer.

Canelo will definitely be landing the more hurtful shot and stoppage is high.

There are 4 blueprints to beat Lemieux and Canelo is skilled enough to replicate either one.

Agree with the Canelo by Too prediction.

Lemieux could hit El Pollo much easier than he can Saunders.................look how easily Golovkin stopped Lemieux, but Golovkin is a more skilled boxer than El Pollo...............still, all El Pollo has to do is be standing at the end of the fight and Oscar's judges would give El Pollo the win...............by hook or by crook. Lemieux could lose to El Pollo fairly also, it all depends on El Pollo...............

Canelo showed some boxing shill against GGG, and tonight Lemuix showed he cant cut the ring off.....So I have to change my mind and go for Canelo to outbox Lemux in a UD decison

Yup. I have to go with this. Lemieux looked abysmal vs Saunders.
