At this point, I lean Spike, he has less mileage on him, and its not like Douglas didn't have pop, yet Spike walked right through everything he threw, Spike has a damn good chin. Rosado I doubt has the power to truly hurt him, so it would probably end up being another ground down late stoppage loss for Rosado.
Your thick as **** Lencore seriously...I'm talking Rosado and you bring up Spike v Douglas for me...Pmsl. If Rosado was stopped by Spike last night, you would be making sense, but he was fighting somebody else you idiot !
Rosado>Douglas Rosado is ****ing iron Douglas is lacking in many areas: Composure, wasted energy, leaky defense/doesn't see punches coming. All things Rosado excels in. Just cause Spike beat Douglas doesn't mean Spike beats Rosado lol!
Rosado of the GGG fight v the best Spike ive seen would be a TKO in favour of Rosado imo ! Douglas was weak as **** !
I'm still shocked that fight was very back and forth. Something is off with Douglas stamina, heart, or he has just taken too much damage? It's almost like Douglas is in cruise control. Nice win Spike this increases Eubank jr and Billy Joe Saunder's stock so I'm happy. Interesting America's North East boxing school has been getting whooped on lately.
I hope they make Rosado-Spike You have to admit though, Rosado would have beat Douglas. Douglas was looking like Glen Tapia lol
Well technically you could say that Spike is as much a product of the northeastern US boxing scene as he is that of his native Ireland. A majority of his bouts in the last few years have been under the Murphy's Boxing banner (as in the Dropkick Murphy's, the famed Irish-American Boston-based folk-punk band - most widely known for "Shipping Up To Boston" as heard in The Departed and every televised Bruins game for the last decade - who have crossed over into the promotional game) and I think he's spent the bulk of each camp and done most of his sparring here, in Boston gyms, with local Boston fighters.
Spike would massacre rosado now. Pinky is beyond shot and even at his best was fearptherfisted and had nothing to keep spike off him.
I know he still only young but Douglas needs to pursue a new line of work. He has talent and is tough and very game, but he's taken an awful lot of punishment in both his loses for one so young and seeing that forlorn expression etched across his battered countenance yet again isn't a pleasant sight and it sets alarm bells ringing.
This, it's like Douglas showed-up whipped already. That mauling from the Russian broke his spirit. Some of these kids never learn how to LOSE
Yeah I was already thinking people were selling Spike short in a hypothetical Rosado matchup as of the Quigley performance but after last night I favor him outright.
