Joshua would land his uppercut and not just look at Holyfield like Tyson did when he had stunned him.

This would be a competitive fight resembling the Takam fight but Joshua would have been maybe losing 3 / 4 rounds...I believe Joshua would k.o Holyfield around 9 rounds...

To big and his counter punching nullifies the smaller Holyfields counter punching. A prepared Joshua would have all the tools to take out Holyfield despite what ppl wish to believe. Joshua's best punch IS the uppercut, Holyfields weak point was the uppercut its the punch he was most susceptible too.

That is laughable. Joshua would have pummeled Evan Fields.

Holyfield had a class A heavyweight chin and stamina to boot. If AJ was like Bowe in that he could match Holyfield in stamina and had Bowe's work rate, I could see it. But even 3 years after Tyson, he battled Lennox Lewis to a near stand still. If AJ tired against Holyfield, Holy would swarm all over him like flies on ****.

I think Holyfield had the chin to take AJ's shots and keep coming.

Bowes work rate? Bowe was one of the laziest HW's with minimum footwork. He got by on size and rarely dedicated 100% to boxing even Futch left him.....lol and fought a weaker Holyfield than the one you are using here.

Joshua would have 30 plus pounds, 4 inch height advantage and so on. Even with Manny Steward , Holyfield in 96 would have his hands full in which he did have an up and down career.

Assuming you are picking a VERY specific Holyfield in 96 vs a flawless SHW thus far?

Doing the math here tells me Joshua is going to win.

Holyfield stops him late but then takes a schooling from modern day drugtesting after the fight.

To be fair, it certainly looks like Joshua is just as juiced up as Holyfield was, but you can't get away with Holy's methods and meds nowadays and we should be pleased with that.

People forgetting about Joshua’s stamina problems, Holyfield had no problems going 12 rounds

Bowe was lazy no doubt but he had a much higher work rate than Joshua, despite his laziness. In the 3rd fight he threw 524 punches in the 7 rounds and 58 secs that fight lasted, that's way more than Joshua threw against Takam or Wlad despite going longer. Bowe threw 711 in the first Holyfield fight and 786 in the 2nd, Bowe basically has double the work rate of Joshua.

Holyfield did struggle with big men, no doubt. But Joshua fights more like Bowe than Lewis. Lewis could box and move for 12 rounds and had a far superior jab. His movement too was far better than Joshua's, Joshua would fight more like Bowe. He doesn't clinch and box his way to decisions he tries to dominate his opponents like Bowe did.

In this kind of scenario, Holyfield can beat Joshua. Evander had a damn good chin, Lewis couldn't take him out and Bowe only did it because he could sustain a work rate that Joshua can't without gassing.

I think Joshua starts well that size and power gives him an edge early and he hurts Evander, but can't finish him. He might even drop Evander. But Holyfield recovers, he head butts his way back into the fight, we saw how that bothered Joshua and Holyfield was the master of a head butt. He out works Joshua as Joshua tries to recover from the out put he put out in the failed attempt to KO Holyfield. But unlike Wlad, Evander doesn't let Joshua off the hook and doesn't allow him to get a 2nd wind, Evander doesn't fade in the final rounds like Wlad and he stops an exhausted Joshua.

Yeah, Lewis had more tools and had a tight fight with Evander, but roidhead comes along and destroys him?? No. Lewis had a harder uppercut than Joshua too btw. I think this might be the first post I've ever come across of yours that is terrible, absolutely pathetic. Takam shouldn't even be in the discussion

Mate, there still juicing like never before, its just better tactics using. Also, it would be a battle of the ped abusers, just one was monumentally better than the other !

That's what I was hinting at.
Problem is, Holyfield was a much better boxer only the stuff he used to actually become a heavyweight would probably be very hard to mask today.
