I still pick Floyd to win against Loma. But Corrales is irrelevant because of styles. Floyd is all wrong for Corrales and just about any other slow plodding puncher. Lomas a boxer.
Can't take anyone seriously who predicts an easy victory for either man- but hey, they're your fantasies. These are historic level talents we're talking about here. Favor one if you like, but there's no shutouts getting pitched here. Neither has fought anyone remotely the caliber of the other fighter.
Physically speaking Floyd has been in the ring with Bigger, stronger, faster, tougher and more rugged fighters than Loma. A lot of people don't see it, but in this matchup I see Floyd being the bully and landing some hard power shots on Loma. And it will hurt.
Using that logic, Adamek should've had no problem beating Chad Dawson since he went up and beat Steve Cunningham and Arreola. Doesn't quite work that way. Nobody Floyd fought at 130 was remotely in Loma's league. I rate Floyd quite highly at 130- high enough that I wouldn't consider anyone a comfortable favorite over him- but Loma is also a historical level talent. Floyd never fought a fighter as defensively talented and slick as Loma, and I don't see how he'd be landing at will at all. Loma's held lightning fast fighters to abysmal connect %'s, and done it while being more offensively focused. That's not saying I think Loma scores easily, either. Again, we're dealing with elite defensive talents- the kind that, 20 and 30 years from now will still be seen as standard bearers. I'd go so far as to say Loma and Floyd would represent the best combination of defensive talent in one ring ever. It might sound like I'm overrating Loma now, but time will prove that to be the case.
I agree, because I don't consider Loma 130, Loma is best at 126. At 130 the guys below would have had a size/power advantage that can neutralize Vasyl superior skills Floyd Mayweather Oscar De La Hoya Edwin Valero Flash Elorde At 126 with Vasyl refined skills & adaptation to Pro World now, he is much more closer to invincible even in ATG match-ups
Tank is very special, I almost feel he needs to be kept away from Vasyl...Miguel Berchelt 32-1 has the WBC & a nice record to add. Special Tank will probably never face Vasyl, he is Mayweather Pet project so no way he will just hand him to Vasyl
Mayweather's KO win over Corrales @ 130 urinates and defecates on the whole of Lomachenko's career, amateur and professional. This conversation is @ best a JOKE and only proves how clueless the automatons are who post here...
ROTFLMMFAO 126 is arguably the deepest division in the sport historically. LOTS of guys who came from/through that division would have eaten Lomachenko's lunch. You idiots need to remove your heads from your asses and go watch some old films.
Well surely he will do better at 126, than 130. Obviously at 126 is (130) in old times, but we are talking limiting the size disadvantage. If you believe in Vasyl technical superiority (I do), then its best to keep him at 126 to limit the size disadvantage, at 126 I will not be shocked if Saddler, Alexis Arguello will do it...Hamed or Pep (it should go similar to Rigo), not sure how Vasyl will deal with an Alexis Arguello or Saddler as they know how to milk every inch of their reach advantage
Losing to ORLANDO SALIDO kinda disqualifies you from consideration as someone who's on the level of a Floyd Mayweather...
