He took like... not even a year off and came back against a big banger (Rios). Even then, that was a MASTERCLASS that he put in against Rios. He toyed with him.

The Margarito fight ended Pac's prime. Margarito took something from Pac that night. Pac was shaking and his voice broke during the post fight interview. He said that Margarito hurt him to the head and body and that he was "so lucky to win." That's what happens when you're 148 on fight night and the other guy is 165, iron-jawed, comes forward all night, and tries to kill you.

This is true. Pac is the only fighter who is expected to deliver ass kickings to much larger men. Even Roberto Duran got a pass for his losses to much bigger men. Pac never got that

Yep it's not just Margarito either, although he was the biggest. Pac had zero business being in the ring with Mosley, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, DLH, Horn, Bradley, Rios, Algieri, etc. People on this board were being banned for starting threads saying Pac could beat Hatton and Cotto. And that's all they did and that got them banned.

FFS, David Diaz should have squashed his tiny ass.

This is not to meant to be an insult, but Pacman is the best HGH success story in human history

Can any man do what Pacman did? near impossible, in this case HGH needed Pacman, because Pacman had a religious-warlike like belief in his mission to spark other boxers, which allowed the HGH to work its best (any damage to his cellular structure, was in reality an advantage, so Pacman had the HGH logistic cellular support),

Pacman warlike mentality was always the fulcrum of rebuilding his body (literally cell by cell with HGH), he wasn't mentally defeated in 112, 122, 130, so the war kept going on & HGH providing limitless logistics to rebuild any damages & supply new cells-mass. Pacman style didn't change & it suited his body, the increase in mass translated perfectly.

Only one Pacman/HGH experiment, every other boxer who tries the HGH path will shot himself in the foot by losing range & stamina (if he didn't add proper PEDs), when it was all done, Pacman might be the only adult boxer with a 30% boxing-oriented extra body mass gained with HGH, he lost about additional 10% that was temporary Anabolic gains, Anthony Joshua gains are bigger in weight, but less in quality & ratio.

I don't think taking bodily damage made it easier for Pacquiao to recover. It's the opposite. Pac moved up in weight and destroyed people, but for the first couple of weight classes it was natural because he grew into his body.

At 112 he was a teenager and didn't have much nutrition so he has still gaining height. Which meant his body was still growing so he moved up to 122 because he got taller. He went to 122 at age 20. He went to 126 at age 24, even though he wasn't getting any taller, a man's clavicles get wider until about 25. Which can account for Pacquiao outgrowing 122.

Pacquiao is a natural 126 pounder. Always was, always will be. That's his weight class. His body is best suited for 126 pounds. It got really weird seeing him move up to 130, 135, 140 and 147 and put people down at every weight though. That was weird. But Pac had so much speed and stamina that he used those to his advantage against bigger men.

Only those who think he's the best ever believe that crap. Too much bull**** with the testing dates where he says when it starts.

And the whole IV scenario reaks of corruption. But there is too much 'money' in doing business w/ Money, so like a crooked banker or politician, nothing happens and he makes bank.

Based on what? His reflexes and defense seemed just fine until the late 90s. He said himself that he didnt get caught by Tysons big bombs. When he looked finished around 94 and 95 it was because of his stamina, rumored heart issues and injuries from whatever he was taking. Not because his reflexes or punch resistance had been beaten out of him.
Gatti is another guy who seemed to be able to recover unusually well from his multiple wars.

The perception is that Holyfield had seen his best days pass him by after the Foreman fight. Now whether that perception is justified is another topic.
