Prime vs prime wlad takes it. Klitachko now though can't seem to beat anyone.

lol@ WK putting on a clinic.. The only time Wlad ever saw a clinic was when he was at the receiving end of one against Tyson Fury. :bandit:

I think Williams is a faster puncher than Wlad and if he connects its good night for the Ukrainian. Of course you cant big up Williams because that would work against your Liston agenda.

Satterfield could knock out any man that ever lived. He was that level of dangerous.

Rocky Marciano gets all the love in the world and his power is legendary, and many believe that his power is one of his equalizers, an important part of the package.

Now Satterfield was the same damn size as Marciano (He was 6'2, actually) and weighed the same as towards the end of his career but no one believes he himself isn't a dangerous, legendary puncher? Have people not heard the stories fellow boxers used to tell about this guy?

This old ass thread somehow got under my skin a little and pissed me off and now I'm "I told you so" mode.

    Have a seat and watch.

Satterfield was 6'2" tall, and below 200 pounds. He had a slim type of build. I did not say he could not hit.

As for Cleveland Williams, he had plenty of guts and muscle buttressed by a chin of glass. Outside of Terrell whom he KO'd and lost to via decision, I can't find another top ten contender on his resume that he finished.

Cleveland Williams faster hands than Wlad?? Might I suggest you take a look at Wlad hand speed in his mid 30's and below? You are beyond wrong in this statement. Wlad in his prime had fantastic hand speed. Trainers such as Tommy Brooks said he has comparable hand speed to Larry Holmes.

Finally no Liston agenda. Diving or quitting vs. Ali twice ( take your pick ) and having a thin resume outside of Patterson who is always throwing out paper to Liston's scissors are fair points to make.

I view Liston as a top ATG 14 great and pick him over Marciano. The agenda is only in your mind.

Are you picking Williams over Klitschko here? That would be worse than your pick of Haye one Klitschko...a real funny one.

He should've hit hard given how consistently he winds up & throws his entire body in to it like he was acting out a barroom brawl scene in a western movie

Kinda like Wilder's right hand, it's a lot easier to have a laugh at the form when it's not your chin it's detonating on

a genuine big puncher is to be avoided by wladie with good reason, and he knew it, thats why he would get his brother to step in.

First hard shot Williams caught Liston with was the start of the end !

Satterfield was well muscled with big shoulders and biceps as the photos clearly show.To deny this is absurd.
Williams had fast hands watch him against Liston and in his earlier fights.
I didn't realise I was replying to you ,I thought it was Choklab ,hence my agenda remark. I'm saying Williams has a live punchers chance and if his chin was glass ,what was Wlad's?
I never picked Haye to beat Wlad in one ,in fact I don't think I even picked Haye to beat him!
