Most of these 70' guys were under 215. Shavers fought at around 210 or under most of his career.

Tyson utterly smashes him anyone watching the two on video footage would see there is little comparison in skills along with PLENTY of footage who takes the better punch.

That's what you want to think.

However Foreman is too slow and wild and wouldn't have the ring IQ for a well trained Tyson.

Tyson literally smashes up that era and does so more easily than the 80's BC he will be chasing guys less and be fighting guys willing to trade punches with him or have less ability to keep distance.

Only Ali and Foreman actually stand a chance and its a slim one.

Great post, but Foreman might have succumbed to Tyson's devastating, whirlwind attack also. A fairly slow and cumbersome Lyle almost ko'd George and the powder-punching Young decked him.

lol now Tyson is an old man like them those old timers don't mind saying he would have kicked their asses, but when Mike was a whipper snapper in the 80s they were all saying he wouldn't have made a dent their their era :loel:

That's BC boxers and fans don't actually believe current fighters are actually real. Its like they have to go into retirement and then are registered to be eligible to be compared to past time boxers.

Really its the dumbed down of the entire sport and outlook.

Its the same guys not knowing if Joshua's can beat up Marciano or even a guy like Quarry.......pure stupidity. And heaven forbid anyone past the 70's is able to at least give Ali a good fight....lol
