Could Mike Tyson really beat Joe Frazier?

Since when was douglas a puncher? Also i did think that douglas and lewis knocked him out?so you are using 2 of his ko loses to make a point in favour of his chin... Uh

 

Douglas had under rated hand speed. You don't see Lennox Lewis praising an opponents chin after a fight.

 

Douglas obviously had power when he knocked a few guys down with a single jab. 6'4" and 230 lbs. is a big fighter right there. If he landed the same amount of punches he landed on Tyson, it would cause the same affect on any other fighter.

 

Douglas never was a relevant puncher,he never ever was mentioned as a top puncher in his own era much less in terms of history.

 

Douglas wasn't a big banger Ruddock and Lewis were. Tyson had a good chin ,better than Frazier's,imo.

 

I never said he was. But he had power. There's proof of it.

 

Lewis knocked him out ....and ruddock did hurt him...the tyson attack saved him more than his chin against ruddock in fact, Evander holyfield was not a puncher and he did hurt and stopped tyson baddly.tyson got stopped in every defeat that he has(except for his reaction of frustration with evander the second time but he was going to get stopped too). I never said that tyson has a bad chin but on the paper there is no proof to say that he had better chin than frazier... Joe got stopped by george foreman by tko,not counted out .foreman did hit harder than anyone that tyson fought. And against ali eddie stopped the fight, it is not even close to a knock out.

 

Holyfield hit hard enough to KD Bowe and Mercer. If Frazier had come out for the last round I think Ali would have stopped him.If Mercante hadn't stopped the Foreman fight,[and he let it go too long imo] Frazier might have been killed.

 

Pure speculation no fact here..

Evander landed fast combinations a keep hitting once and again and again but he was not a puncher

 

Tyson did not bob and weave consistently like Frazier

GEORGE ****ING FOREMAN couldn't put a past prime Frazier down to the count, yet a peak Tyson was stopped by Buster Douglas.

Yes it really matters. What a silly post! He's not gonna have the massive height advantage Foreman did that allows him to throw this uppercuts the way Foreman did.

Wrong once again! He's not gonna be able to shove and ragdoll Frazier where he wants him like Foreman did.

He also thinks the same version of Tyson that struggled with and failed to ko James Tillis not only defeats but KNOCKS OUT any version of Holmes. I wouldn't take anything he says to seriously.

Still you are avoiding the key here... Holyfield NEVER EVER WAS A PUNCHER does not matter if you say that he dropped an elephant. You will not change the fact that he was not a puncher. Ali got dropped by guys that were not top punchers..And ?a past prime version of evander with problems of heart did hurt tyson badly.it is the only fact. Get a nice day

 

If you drop iron chinned Mercer you can punch! Ali was never floored by a non puncher. I never suggested Holyfield didn't hurt Tyson and Evander had no heart problem when he fought Tyson .
