American Lee Savold was recognized as the EBU World Heavyweight Champion.

Ah, you took the bait. So you actually aren't stupid you just get your rocks off by pretending to be, which is stupid in a different way.

Strawman. Have a nice Christmas, troll.

Lee Savold recognized by EBU as World Champion June 6, 1950. There in black n white. EBU withdrew recognition when Savold lost to Louis. Of course you already know this, troll.

Mills was lineal and recognized universally. If you don't recognize Mills, you don't recognize Maxim or Moore or the entire lineage.

Nice Strawman, you know damn well I didn't say "Awarded", I said recognized.

This ongoing sparring reminds me of Oscar Wilde's quote about fox-hunting

"The unspeakable in pursuit of the inedible". Xmas entertainment!

It reminds me of the V. Klitschko - Briggs title fight... where Briggs took an almost unheard of amount of punishment, but refused to quit!

Yeah ,that's a great comparison! Like Randy Cobb saying Holmes wouldn't give him rematch because his hands wouldn't be able to take the punishment!

Just write another crappy strawman where you respond to me as if I admitted defeat. You've deliberately misquoted me this entire thread, why stop now.

Because you replied not correctly to the words that I did not say ,I know you are defeated and have conceded that you have won not this argument or some other that perhaps you made sometime in the future or even before that. I then accept therefore your defeat of admission and congratulations of my victory.I am know the British World Champion of the EBU and expect to be recognized for the Chump I am!:campeon::ARMS1::number_one:

This New Year that is not here but will be later after now,I shall be depending my title against a suitcase challenger picked by hand by the NABA The National Albanian Boxing Assorted.
Wish me luck in my quest to become undisputed Chumpion of the

Your argument from past few pages:

    1. Red Herrings:
    -Mills & Savold
    -EBU & BBC title recognition
    -Roberto Duran & Palomino

    The Real Argument:
-Ezzard Charles historical relevance as recognized by publications and educated fans in contrast to your unique low rating.

    2. Strawmen:
-Claimed I said EBU awarded World Titles
-Claimed I said Moore was only defeated by Ezzard Charles in 1948
-Claimed I said most publications rate Charles as P4P top 10
-Claimed my point as Mills and Savold being recognized by the EBU

    My Real Claims:
    -EBU recognized World Champions
-Moore was only defeated by Ezzard Charles in a two period from 46-48
-I said most publications that make such lists rated Charles as the top LHW and within the top 30 P4P.
-My point was Maxim whom Charles defeated multiple times was an historical relevant LHW and for a time the World recognized lineal Champion

    3. Factual Inaccuracies:
-Claimed EBU not recognizing World Champions
-Claimed Mills only recognized by BBC
-Claimed Maxim not recognized as World LHW Champion by major organizations
-Claiming Moore was first recognized by NBA for Durelle II

    The Facts:
    -EBU did recognize World Champions
-After defeating Gus, Mills was the universally recognized lineal World LHW Champion.
-After defeating Mills, Maxim was the universally recognized lineal World LHW Champion.
-After defeating Maxim, Moore was the universally recognized lineal World LHW Champion.

*note Universal Recognition=NBA, NYSC, EBU..etc. Nobody relevant is in dispute.

    4. Illogical Contradictions
    :

-You proposed an argument for Moore's greatness based on his winning of the World LHW title, yet refuse to acknowledge his predecessors, Maxim and Mills, as LHW Champions.

    Strawman.

    Strawman.

And you called me a boxrec warrior.

All of Moore's World title fights were NBA recognized until Rinaldi which was only recognized by California, New York, and EBU.

Me: "As a LHW, Maxim captured the lineal title from Freddie Mills "

You: "I doubt if Mills "title-win" was official sanctioned by the when leading organisations." post #139

You use double speak frequently to deny responsibility for factual mistakes, it's an obvious gimmick and won't work with me.

    Strawman.

    Strawman.
