Salvador Sanchez is my favourite fighter to watch, the constant bouncing, big featherweight size with excellent right hand, great chin and stamina. Nothing seems to faze this legendary fighter.
Can the current lomachenko bewildered Sanchez?
I think it will be very tactical affair.

Outbox yes... Over 12 rounds though? A dream fight and there would be none of the "no mas" nonsense either from a proper great in Sanchez.

The first guy with decent skill that gives a proper effort will have success against Lomachenko, once his face busted up. Have to stay on him and pound that guard though.

I kind of hate disrespecting a legend like Sanchez. But look, Nelson nearly beat him on 2 weeks notice. The man was theoretically beatable.

So you're saying somebody might actually win a round or two off Loma? You're only helping to hype how good Lomachenko is.

No, not saying that at all, it would depend on what guy his size he come across who was also a somewhat skilled fighter, but for the crude guys, there is a blue print. Salido mugged him, and Marriaga showed that when you throw hard shots into his guard, that his face starts deteriorating fairly easily, whether you are landing clean, or simply pounding his gloves into his face. I would have loved to see Lomachenko have a prime Castillo to fight, or even a prime Salido. Somebody that would make him step his game up to the next level.

You act like Salido didn't have to cheat to win. Lots of good fighters would lose if their opponents were allowed to throw low blows with impunity.

Castillo is one of the most overhyped lightweights in history to be honest. Salido I would have liked see against a Prime Lomachenko myself, not a faded Salido against a green Lomachenko.

Beatable yes, Sanchez had a few close decisions as he often fight to the level of his opponents. Nelson was a bit green at the time but please don't sell him short, he is a genuine great fighter.

Guys, I'm going to dismiss some of you guys and what you're saying on the grounds that you have not seen enough Sanchez fights. Sanchez is one of the very best fighters who ever lived. His style can travel through time. You have not studied him or his style enough to say that Loma...who lost to Salido would give Sal a fight. The **** has gone too far now.

If you're going to judge Sanchez on his close fights or close fight with Nelson, then you must judge Loma on his loss to Salido. But that's not how we match fighters do we? You match fighters at their very best. Flaws come in later.

I'm not sure a close win vs Azuma is something you can use to berate a fighter to be honest, even if it was on short notice.
