Size and weight had something to do with it. If Rigondeaux and Lomachenko were the same height, and same weight. Loma wouldn't win, even against this 45 year old Rigondeaux he just defeated. His size was an asset to him against the smaller man.

Not that I know of. But hey, Rigo's a JLWT, why not?

    11 pounds. Same difference.

World Champion. By definition, not a fringe contender.

Lawrence Cole was a huge advantage.

Yep, Cole should have taken points away. But then lets be honest, Chenko held more in that fight than Rigo held him, did he lose any points?

Rigo is a 5'3" guy, but he's got good sized reach and he's got broad shoulders. He's a little guy, but enough of this Rigo is the tiniest man alive stiff. You guys act like he's a flyweight.

    Also Rigo is overrated.

Which fighter was nonstop trolling and asking for the fight again?? And which fighters ‘fans’ where saying “Oh it has to happen! We’ll see how he reacts to being in with a superior tactician nah! He gettin his jaw broke!” ??

Exactly. Loma put a troll in his place. And at least this troll was a PFP professional boxer and not Charlie Z ;) Like SOME badasses brag about.

11 pounds, 16 and 15...we are still talking a siginificant weight advantage. And point stands, Duran and Leonard did not face that.

LaMotta would be a great, he wasnt even a top 10 MW in 42. I also named more than LaMotta.

Robinson would, but he also would weigh the same, have 5 inches in height, and a giant reach advantage.

We have weight classes in boxing. Not reach or height classes. Those other fights you listed were after Robinson's 150 or so fights? In his prime he lost once. To an ATG MW who outweighed him by 16 pounds. Then brutalized him 5 times after that.

Duran did face a significant weight disadvantage. How about when he gave up over 10 pounds to Leonard or 25 pounds to Hagler both in their prime.

Ive seen Rigo listed at 126 to 128.5 rehydration. So the claim he ate his weigh up two weight divisions translates as an actual 2 pound gain at best. You even state he didnt gain anything, which was my point.

Loma's highest rehyrdated weight is 138, I doubt he was 142 plus, speculation.

Crawford is 157 against Postol. Loma was 137 against Rigo. So 20 pounds.

Loma vs Garcia is closer to Rigo discrepancy and Loma wants that fight.

Duran and Leonard were same day weigh in.

Duran and Hagler were also same day weigh in.

Doubtful any difference in ring, can you source these outrageous claims? Hagler notoriously always came in under weight.

I was referring to natural size. Anybody can weigh more if they decide to eat more food and drink more beer. Look at Morales or Hamed.

Reach and height are factors, especially with weight being equal.

To a then unrated MW, he had opportunity to rematch multiple times.
