Maybe Lewis would have came back and miraculously found the energy to “Throw everything he had” in the next round” (Lol@That! ) and maybe Vitali would have just ate it and not budged like he had all Lennox’s shots the previous rounds. Then maybe Vitali would have landed one more 1-2 and decked Lewis for a ten count. Something that’s happened to Lewis twice before.

What we do know is the whole world wanted to see the rematch and felt it was unfinished business. And we all know why that never happened don’t we?

never said anything about razor blades. dreads can definitely exacerbate a cut though. the cut was caused by a thumb. if you watch thereafter, lewis was digging into it with his dreads, end of story.

Lewis has had dreadlocks half his career...yet they only "cut" someone WHEN he was in the ring with vitali for 5 rounds, yeh?

I expect you ALSO think that all the OTHER HW champs in history ran into retirement instead of sticking round till they were 38.

No they all retired by then, Lewis was just doing what THEY ALL did.

So essentially you are arguing that ALL HW CHAMPS in HISTORY were wrong to retire by 38, with the exception of Foreman who came back. Please back up this argument with evidence that everyone from John L SUllivan up to Lewis were wrong to retire.
