i know he is a good fighter but the hype surrounding this guy is crazy.it is like listening to the second coming this guy is on every page on sky just seen a programme called when Thierry met Joshua amongst other programmes.typical British Overeaction to a good heavyweight fighter (not elite).end of the day who has this guy actually beat apart from a aged Vladimir who in his prime would have took Joshua out quite easily .ill tell you something else the way Joshua gasses in fights is amazing .he will be found wanting by these Russian cruiserweights when they decide to step up in distance.

He's being pushed hard no doubt but it's no different than how HBO pushed Golovkin as some monster before he beat anyone good. It's simply good business to build a fighter up as something possibly greater than they are, it draws paying fans.

Joshua has all the requirements to be a huge world wide star. Olympic gold, undefeated, KO streak, impressive physique, says the right things and actually has the desire and self belief to fight the best.

But he isn't the monster he's made out to be. He has flaws like any fighter, flaws that can be exploited. He's not head and shoulders above everyone else but he does seem to be the best of the current crop, at least for now.

Joshua is already a unified champion , how long has it taken other HW champions? Joshua already has fought a handful of meaningful fights, how long has that taken other HW's in 20 fights?

Joshua has all stoppages , he gasses though? Well he's overweight, doesn't cut his hair correct, etc..etc..you might as well throw these non factual things in the mix that are not true or irrelevant to what's actually going on.

This is the problem with today's fans ,its always the who have they beat outlook and don't really watch the skills or fights themselves. Of course you think the cruiserweights are going to beat Joshua BC you don't watch boxing, you can't to make that statement.

If Joshua wasn't getting pushed the HW division would be stagnant BC of Wilder and Parker...who have those guys fought? Do you guys even like boxing? I guess not BC you dislike when someone comes along who can generate interest again, go figure this what boxing fans do.....lol

You may not like him or the hype surrounding him but Joshua is the best heavyweight in the game at the moment....that is until Tyson Fury steps back in the ring at least.

Hype doesn't have to be tied to skill. Plenty of fighters who weren't that great have had huge fanbases and still get a love of love simply because they were exciting and put on a show.

Sorry but Joshua gassing is a big issue with the heavyweights.against Vladimir he unloading what he had then looked absolutely shot a younger vlad would have stopped him.lets not forget the Whyte fight.same again Joshua threw his bombs then was gassed it was only the dillian Whyte became star struck that he couldn't finish him.against wilder he doesn't get away with it..

You don't have stamina issues when you knock out a Klitchko in the 11th round when you never went past 7. Joshua also just had a 10th round stoppage connecting at his highest % in that round but he has stamina issues?

You don't gain stamina WITHOUT in ring experience and at 250 there is NOTHING to go on he has issues even with a explosive style which also REQUIRES good stamina on top of carrying extra mass.

Did you know actual PUNCHES also take stamina out of you? I'm guessing no BC you think the cruiserweights are going to come in and mug Joshua. What is that exactly based on? :babeando:

Whyte won 1 round in that fight....stop the nonsense.lol

Klitchko has no bearing or relevance as to if Joshua should be popular or not what idiot logic is that? The fact is a guy with hundreds of rounds less experience defeated him.....he retired for a reason.
