Going back to Ali-Frazier 1, is that far enough? And I rarely miss a fight. Fury is awful, just awful. Styles make fights and clearly these two don't match well. But to fair to Fury, Klitschko has looked bad against a number of fighters.

I agree that Fury will be out of shape and that he isn't a puncher, and I also agree that Briggs has traditionally shown a good chin. But at his age, having been so many years since the savage beating he took in his last relevant fight, I'm not sure you can count his resistance being anything close to what it once was.
There are so many things that could go wrong in the lead up to this fight. Both fighters track records recently for stepping into the ring is abysmal. Firstly Fury at least needs to get into some semblance of decent shape. I doubt he's below 300lbs right now or even close to it. Though by recent tweets he still seems to be training which is a good sign. Either of them could fail a doping test in the lead up to the fight. Briggs has been in talks with numerous fighters in recent years and not fought them and of course failed a test for his last scheduled fight. The fight might simply not sell because who would pay to see 2 fighters known for not showing up for scheduled bouts, might as well set fire to your wallet. Honestly I think it's a real long shot for this fight to happen.
What a perfect warm up fight for Joshusa. Briggs stiff arse is like Joshua's daddy just like an older version thats it.
