So, why all American judges, referees, boxing commissions, venue, etc.? SOB cheated, he did not fight by the rules of boxing. Your balls arent on your waistline or belly button. I saw the fight live and the replays numerous times, maybe 1 punch was borderline, the rest were right on the abdomen. Kovalev also pulled his trunks up to above his belly button (which is the oldest trick in the book). Kovalev is a racist quitter who Virgil Hunter predicted would try to find a way out of the fight. Weeks ignored him because the bully put on one of the biggest flop jobs that would make NBA players proud.

He complained because he knew he couldnt take body shots and couldnt fight on the inside. Dont believe me? Watch the first fight with Ward along with kovalev vs chilemba. The guy cant fight on the inside to save his life and thas why he initiated most of the clinches.

Kovalev is no krusher, the only reason people still whine about these fights are A) they lost money B) they irrationally hate ward C) theyre just racist or D) all of the above. No intelligent honest boxing fan would actually claim kovalev was done some horrible injustice and got robbed. Kovalev is a typical front runner who only looks good when things are going his way. This is actually not true. Ward spun completely behind Kovalev. Kovalev couldnt follow because Wards leg laced around his, entagling the feet.

Kovalev didnt want to get blind sided so he stepped away defensively before turning around.

The HBO crew, i think crazy Kellerman started screaming 'Kovalev turned his back!" And people have been running with that narrative but it never happened.
