Do you have any photos of Golota landing a legit body blow against Bowe??The photo proves very little.

The photo shows a legal body shot landing. During the fight there was more shots landed on the belt line than bellow the belt line. . Low blows weren't the cause of his collapse even though one went in at the time of the stoppage. Kovalev was already spent from legal body shots by that stage.
Ward broke Kovalev down with legal punches.

    Dino logic.

Proves Kovalev turned his back with a gif of Kovalev not turning his back.

Then provides a photo of Ward landing a legal punch earlier in thr fight to prove the punches that ended the fight were legal.

    Hes on a Dino Roll.

I don't have that gif , but you do. You won't post it cos it clearly shows Kovalev truing his back. You're forever posting gifs...Why won't you post a gif now?

Count isn't even a Ward fan yet he can still agree that Kovalev turned his back..

I don't care where you are seated at in the arena. Ward wraps up Kovalev and pivots behind him, Kovalev's position of facing the ring post does not change, Ward starts with his back to the ring post and ends up facing it. It's quite sad that has to be explained. Kovalev did not turn his back. Kellerman is just nuts and caught up in the moment and agenda he's been assigned to push, we have video replay, what's anyone else's excuse for not seeing the obvious?

Anyone that feels Kovalev turned his back in this sequence is flat out wrong, no ambiguity to it.

I will rewatch the round based on your information. I admittedly have only watched this fight once - I thought he had turned his back. Thanks for the clarification

The Kentucky Snake conveniently made a two second gif that ends right before Kovalev turns his back.

@5:20 Face your opponent at all times. Kovalev was happy to walk away to get a break from the action.

If you keep watching , the crowd perspective doesn't make the stoppage look all that bad. Kovalev was reckt and was barely throwing a punch back while Ward was all over him. He had nothing at all left to offer and a stoppage loss was coming one way or another.

oh, get off your high horse and stop taking the achievements of others so seriously
sergei kovalev appears to have moved on from the fight, and six months after the fight took place, perhaps you should follow his lead

The gifs length forces a focus on the actual action, which is Ward pivoting behind Kovalev. Not Kovalev "turning"

You have to "turn" to "turn your back" to someone.

I suppose Kovaelv was happy to create distance after his opponent spun around him and avoid a potential rabbit punch or blind side attack.

It's actually a discredit to Ward to claim Kovalev "turned his back" as it denies the cagey move he used to get out of the corner. But this isn't about being a fan of Ward, it's about trolling and hating on Kovalev. Even Kovalev's reaction is a good highlight, as he was aware enough to avoid Ward's trap.

Ward's move is actually something I would highlight to teach younger fighters. But hey, let's deny it happened and indulge in juvenile storytelling designed to keep casuals that can't follow boxing emotionally invested.

When I wrote that I dont think Ward is a good boxer but is an effective brawler, it does not mean that Ward doesnt have skills.
I dont think Froch is a good boxer but does have skills and won many fights even against better boxers.
Mayweather is an exceptional boxer for example.
Ward IMO is an effective brawler, he gets in close, holds and hits, uses elbows, uses his head, have seen him duck low also. Now these are things against the rules but he has been able to get away with them. Its effective, its not keeping within the rules of boxing

They are only briefly "side to side" before Ward's pivot is complete. Kovalev walks away after Ward establishes position behind him with no room to pivot.

During the entire sequence Kovalev's body is facing the ring post. He's not the one that moves.

I can't censor something that is widely available for free, the complete sequence is all over youtube for anyone that wishes to view it. The purpose of the gif is to highlight the actual action that occurred as explained.

Why do so many keep going on about where exactly Kovalev was hit? If a shot is below the belt it is in a sensitive area and often not a legal blow.
Remember shots below the belt are often not within the rules

You made that a two second gif for a reason. You didn't want it to show the part when Kovalev walks away leaving Ward standing there looking at his back.

Its right there @5:20 in the vid.
