Whats happened to this kid? He was franks biggest prospect at one time.
I just havnt heard or seen him at all alately.
He was out earlier this year against lee connely and seems to of disapeared off the face of the earth since.
Hes never mentioned on BN anymore and hes never had the rematch with jupp.
I thought he had his career back on track when he teamed up with booth but you just dont seem to hear from him anymore.
Has anyone heard anything coming up for Smith?

Well according to his twitter he has "been doing nothing for 2 years" but he says he'll "be back collecting titles"

    And something about "The Return"

So I'm assuming 2018 is when he will pick it up again.

I had real high hopes for him, sure I bigged him up plenty. Looked like he had plenty of raw talent but it's not worked out for him. Maybe he just doesn't put the work in

Has been quite open on Facebook and Twitter about taking thing for granted and his eye off the prize. Been back on the building site grafting. Says his now focused and can' wait to get back to winning ways. Cud b interesting with Warren having Smith Barrett Woodstock all in same division.
Ward will vacate British title and Bowen is mandatory cud b some interesting board notices and fights sent to purse bids in the next meeting or meetings

He certainly hasnt done anything for 2 yrs.
since the jupp fight which was nearly 3yr ago i reckon, i think ive seen him twice, against comeback fighters..
I do hope he gets serious and makes a return.
whilst i never rated him like he certainly rated himself and others rated him, i thought that the move to booth would be a good move for him.
Thing is with smith is he does spout off a lot and this supposed, "im taking it serious now" has been heard ftom him before.
I do hope he does come back tho. I do think that hes suited to booths style and with some commitment he could do well.

I think he is finished. He got beat by jupp and realised this isn't as easy as it was supposed to be. He always seems to have some sort of personal problem. I don't think he lives the life. Hope I'm wrong but have also heard to much talk from him but doesn't back it up.

I met him a couple of years ago, he was tiny and chubby! I actually think he could’ve worked a bit harder and got down to featherweight instead, at the time he looked too small for a super featherweight imo

    Perhaps there are weight issues

If he doesn't rematch jupp he can forget it, how can he talk so much crap then get beat and not rematch? Seems like a joker to me, he's lost and forgotten.

He was really full of him self and he should have had a dq lose to when he punched guy when he was down couldn't have been happier when he got humbled by jupp after all the trash he was talking

Jupp has retired. Their was talk of a rematch but jupp camp turned it down over poor money and the fight being at catch weight

The money offered was very poor according to his team for a fight he didn' really need. Also had a tough fight after the Smith fight in mexico I sure he has his own business so boxing wasn't his only income or priority
