You need to get over people having their own opinions on the fights. 80% of fans feel Sergey won the first fight. About the same percentage feel Ward DIDN’T win the 2nd within the rules. Stopped reading after racist quitter it's boxing not a personality contest Ward finished the fight with 3 illegal blows. When you step through the ropes it's supposed to be a sporting contest. Maybe 1 punch was borderline. lol.

 

i'm fine with people having their opinions and the fight results being contentious, but when someone spends an entire six months trying to sell the result of the second fight as scandalous I just wish they would do something more with their own life in the real world.
kovalev has moved on, everyone else should too.
I know i'm 'pushing **** uphill', and that he'll never change, so i'm making light of the situation.

I don't know who started the thread but it's a contentious issue and people are passionate about it(hence the thread being 12 pages). Being an Aussie you should know all about that with Green-Mundine debates since 2006.

sure. I understand contentious points are going to come up now and then, but 'farmboxer' repeating the exact same post at least 6 times a day, 6 months after the fight, has more to do with his unhappiness with his own life than the result of the fight.
if he spent all that energy he's wasting on non-productive repetition, went out in the world and got some exercise/made someone else's life brighter/got a girlfriend etc., then he'd feel a lot better about himself and would be less likely to sit on here and hit his head against a brick wall in frustration

 

It’s actually pretty pathetic but I must admit nothing is more entertaining than reading the insanely differing opinions. It’s like that strange dress that went viral like a year ago that had everyone going nuts about what color it was....blue or gold.

Anyway I’ve given up on most of the knuckleheads on here, the usual suspects crying about injustice while refusing to accept and interject counter arguments. God forbid you try to dissect the flow of the fight like a normal human being. The one salient point and overarching theme that the naysayers will harp on is beltine punching. A simple explanation for Kovalev’s loss that satisfies the modest simple fan. I sometimes feel like patting people on the head and giving them lollipop.
