    So the MMA Akhmedov isn't too shabby himself? Exciting style, at least, from reading the reactions to at least tonight's fight. Potential contender or just undercard fodder?

    Funny that he campaigns at more or less the same weight as our darling prospect in boxing that shares his surname - welterweight in MMA is within a few pounds of the 'real' light heavyweight.

    Yeah I think he could more than compete at 170 - given the weakness of the division, how big of a LW he is and (triangle theorying here a bit) how well his former victim Dos Anjos has done since moving up in weight.
