    Wilder should of fought him at least 3 years ago after he knocked out Jennings.

    This means nothing Ortiz is washed up he looked very slow in his last fight and not the same....

    Ortiz couldn't also knock out malik scot

    Wilder will never fight a legit fighter

    He is 42, he himself said that in a deleted interview. He said his age after he mentioned that he has fought and defeated Pernell Whitaker via SD. I saw it and thousand others saw it before it was deleted.

    He's younger than Rigo and is bigger than Wilder and hits just as hard.

    Loma fighting Rigo is like Wilder fighting Sully Barrera. :confundio1::icon_popcorn:

    Its because he's old that Wilder wants to fight him - he's a name, respected fighter who he sees on the slide. So he thinks he can con the boxing fans that he's the real deal. What Ortiz has left is unknown, but I'd love to see him KO Wilder and the hear Wilder's excuses afterwards....

    People are reading too much into Wilder demolishing fat old semi-retied Stiverne. Ortiz is a whole different ball game to anyone Wilder has fought - barring Worm Nichols of course :naughty2:

    I find it odd that Wilder is willing to fight this guy after all the rants his team professed about never fighting guys who pop dirty. Ortiz has popped twice. The fact they are going back on their word, makes me suspect, that is won't be legit. Again I'll believe it when I see it, but if the fight happens and it's legit, Wilder deserves some credit. Yes Ortiz is in 40s and maybe even early 50s if he really did fight Sweet pea as he claims, but even then he would be Wilder's best fight to date and the second top 10 fighter he has faced. Hope it happens Wilder has gotten a free pass for way too long. His record doc far is meaningless

    Guys, how old is Rigondeaux?

    Off topic I'm just curious. My gut tells me for some strange reason that the same guys who think Ortiz is lying about his age and is really 50, think Rigondeaux is lying about his age, and is really 29.

    It's not just Granpa Ortiz's age but the fact he's been fighting at a low level for a while (e.g Dave Allen). But will still be the best win on Wilder's resume if he manages it.
