Could Larry Holmes realistically beat Ezzard Charles and Jersey Joe Walcott in the same night

Back to back? I was watching Marciano /Charles on YouTube and someone in the comments section claimed that Holmes could beat Charles and Walcott on the same night back to back.

I can't see it. Either one could take him the distance and either one could run him real close. Both would have live chances at an upset. Is this even plausible?

Well maybe so, I always felt that Walcott and Charles had alot more skill than they had ability to follow it through, but they were good enough to give marciano alot of trouble after all. But I Can't help but seeing it look similar to when cassius clay fought Archie moore

 

Moore was thirty years older than Clay and on his last leg. In fact Moore was born in 1913, Ali's mother was born in 1917 according to Wikipedia.

Weaver at 202 lbs gave Holmes a tough fight. Will Walcott weighing 196 really make a difference as opposed to 202 pounds, especially when he was on another tier when it comes to skill in comparison to Weaver?

Both would be hard fights, and it is not even a given that he would beat them both individually.

My thoughts exactly. He'd have to win via blowouts for that to happen and while you could argue strongly to make Holmes a favorite, you could also argue strongly for a Walcott /Charles upset win. Which, BTW, would likely have better odds in Vegas than Douglas had vs Tyson

 

Well George Foreman did fight the 5 guys in Toronto

He fought contender Bob Armstrong 10 rounds and next up and gloved up was contender Steve O'Donnell. Real fights. He was fighting O'Donnell after a 30 minute rest. Unfortunately, Jeff broke his hand in (his left, which was his killer) the 1st round of the Armstrong fight and after fighting and winning the decision wanted to fight Steve as scheduled. Doctor said no, Jeffries complained crowd who paid for two fights was greatly disappointed.
